   We enjoyed a lovely meal at the dornoch castle Hotel restaurant. The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable about the food and the whisky. Would definitely recommend.

   Very small restaurant and castle, but the service was impeccable. Everyone in this town was so friendly and helpful. They did everything they could to make our stay memorable, and it certainly was! We had a great night in Dornoch and our stay was magical! Get the old courtroom if you really want to experience this castle hotel!

   Great staff. Limited menu if you aren’t into pizza but some good choices. Good drinks choices. And good price.

   Lovely bar leading into the dinning area. Well laid out restaurant. Menu focussed on pizza but interesting other items. Pizza was excellent with local salami. Deserts were tasty. Great value for money, excellent service.

   Place to not miss in the whole northern part of Scotland. It starts with really kind staff, all the time helpful. The food is excellent with a good quality-price ratio. We had some starters to share (broccoli was great, pork belly too) and then the fish of the day, delicious. Of course you cannot leave without going to the incredible whisky bar, lots of bottles you don't find anymore in the shops. Don't forget to stop over at their Whisky shop at walking distance from the restaurant.

   We were disappointed with the new menu. In the past, dinner was like the fine dining one would expect at the dining room in a nice hotel - good food, interesting and varied menu items and nice ambience. New management (sons of the owner) pivoted to more of a bar menu with limited dinner main course options. Will not be returning balance of this trip or in future.

    Beautiful addition to the Dornoch Castle Hotel. Both the food and the service were wonderful. Very nice wine list and a few very fun cocktails. The addition of pizzas is ingenious! Well done.
