Located in the back of Don’s Grocery & Liquor is the former Don’s Diner now turned speakeasy. Disguised as a TV repair shop we welcome you to come grab some drinks and TV Dinners. Serving Boozy Shakes and Retro-Cocktails. We are in the business of repairing the need for a good drink and a great burger! In our effort to keep providing enjoyable experiences we are taking necessary steps for health safety. We want to ensure the health safety of our staff and guests each night.

Reservations recommended, walk-ins are accommodated with limited seating. Call Ahead for Large Parties 7+ or join the waitlist here on OpenTable!

Took my daughter and friends for her 12th bday. The little ladies loved it, the service was great and the prices were conducive to my budget. Great experience!!!

I really was not a fan of the menu, for a brunch spot they have very limited options and also did away with their biscuits and gravy which i cannot believe. Then after doing the math for our bill, something wasn't adding up, after doing some research i realized they charged a hidden gratuity of 20% on there so they basically received a 40% tip. I am a good tipper, but the fact that you don't see this on the receipt or anywhere for that matter unless you do the math and watch your receipt is pure shady. Put such a bad taste in my mouth.

Me and my wife seen Don's tv repair restaurant on social media and wanted to see if it was as good as it looked we went their this past Saturday and we were excited to go we booked a reservation and when we got there we were seated but after about 10 mins and another group seated after us were served B4 us we asked for the manger after about 2-3 more minutes without the manger coming too see us we decided to leave by the time we made it to the door the manger was there and told us they were sorry but it didn't explicitly the poor service and sadly we won't be returning to Don's tv repair restaurant

My parents were in town so we took them here for the experience! Super cool themed restaurant, we all enjoyed the atmosphere. The food is very reasonably priced and it was pretty good. I had the scrambler and I really enjoyed it. My sister got the Hot Chicken Sammie and she said it was pretty spicy and wasn’t very warm when it was served. My dad, however, got the same thing and had zero complaints. The drinks were cool and definitely part of the experience. You won’t spend much money on food but the drinks add up. The service wasn’t great. Things came out in a timely manner but our server wasn’t very helpful with questions about the menu, they spoke very quietly and really didn’t say much or interact beyond the very basics. I would probably recommend this spot for someone visiting Milwaukee but I would really hope they receive better and more friendly service.

The waitress was not attentive to us at all and it wasn’t even busy. We sat there 20 minutes after finishing eating for our check…. I ended up having to go to the bar and ask if they could get it for me as our waitress was m.i.a most of the time we were there.

We went to Don's TV & Repair for my Birthday, as I had read about it on several Milwaukee food blogs. It has a store entrance with a phrase to say to get into the place. It was similar to the SafeHouse. The restaurant is decorated in 1980's/90's nostalgia, small TVs with VCR players attached, multiple Gremlins, etc. There is a screen on one end where The Magic School Bus was playing. The menu is simple but the food is outstanding. They have shakes and boozy shakes and fun adult beverages. We plan to go back again and again.

My friend and I made a reservation for dinner before our concert plans! We were seated super promptly, however waited a while to be greeted by our server. Once she came over she was super quick and not friendly. We ordered and our food came pretty quickly, and the food was delicious! Our server never came back to check in, but instead dropped off our check without asking if we would like anything else. So we felt rushed to leave, but then it took forever for her to come and take our payment. We each had our cards out to do a split payment. She abruptly grabbed both cards and took them away, came back and we signed the credit card slip and left. Later that evening, we realized she charged both of us the full amount for the bill. We called right away this morning but have yet to hear back from a manager. Hopefully we can resolve the issue. If I knew I’d have a different server I would absolutely return, as I love the vibe and the food is great!
