DONHAO is a unique Modern Chinese Restaurant that is a gathering place for exquisite cuisine, blending traditional family recipes with modern techniques. Located in the Danville Livery, Donhao was established in August of 2024 offering Dine-in and Takeout for both lunch and dinner. We ordered the fillet of sole app and it was plentiful , not greasy and very crispy delicious. The only thing I would add is some kind of light dipping sauce. The 2 of us also ordered the mushroom/bok choy plate for veggies and it was tasty. The third dish we ordered was the sweet and sour pork--it had fresh pineapple and bell peppers in it which made it fresh and delicious. The sauce was really good and the food was very plentiful and we took some to go home.

Amazing food and service. Our whole experience was outstanding. Thank goodness Danville finally has an elevated Chinese restaurant.

Outstanding Chinese-inspired upscale dishes. Spicy wontons are Fire! If you are looking for some Chinese food but not the normal humdrum then go here. Full bar to make you a nice cocktail and some outside seating to enjoy the fresh air.

great to have chinese food that wasn't too greasy. the walnut prawns were excellent and not drowning in sauce but very flavorful. the chinese chicken salad could have had a bit more dressing but the flavor was good and had moist shredded chicken - not fried.

Finally an upscale chinese food restaurant!! It's cozy and inviting, excellent cocktails, and the food was delicious, flavorful and portions were good. The chow mein was not greasy at all and the orange chicken was delicious. We also tried the wagyu beef on egg tofu, green beans, had some dumplings and spring rolls for appetizers and even some sponge cake for dessert. When we have a craving for chinese food, we will skip all the greasy nasty MSG loaded strip mall dive places and head straight to DONHAO for a fix!

Excellent, high end Chinese cuisine in of all places, Danville. Loved the spicy dumplings and the eggplant was to die for. Will definitely be back.

Bento boxes were generous. Great option to try a bit of everything on the menu. Green beans and mushroom salad was delicious.
