I've been dining here quite a long time with my special friends especially. It's like a private club atmosphere because you see all the time same guests and the manager knows everyone that walks in . Clean and quiet. Foods are made like heaven . The manager is kind and friendly. I recommend it for special occasions or meetings particularly. I just like to let you know that Saturday night you had an owner from a restaurant in Westwood New Jersey I was sitting one table away from him when he start complaining I get up and I told him this is not your competitor don’t push it, that was the second table in window next to your fireplace when he start complaining about a menu I was looking for manager to talk to him but than I got up and told him don’t do it They very busy they got you a table, a drink and relax!!!!!

This has been a place I've been wanting to try for years and I'm glad I did. It's a good spot for special occasions and the decor is beautiful. The food and drinks were pretty good all around. I ordered a fish that was slightly overcooked so it was a bit dry and the braised short rib flavor the best I ever had but everything else-to die for . We were there for probably 3 hours on a Saturday night and we didn't feel rushes at all. If you want to sit indoors, you have to make a reservation. Our server nick was really nice and accommodating which made the experience even better.

Absolutely stellar experience at donatella ! From start to finish, everything was exceptional. I ordered the Papadelle pasta and it was truly one of the best dishes l've ever had. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the mushrooms were very unique and delicious addition, and the sauce was light and creamy. Every bite was delicious and satisfying, showcasing a mastery of Italian cooking. The ambiance at donatella elegant, yet comfortable. This was a dining experience that felt special in every way. Highly recommend Donatella for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine in New Jersey . Five stars, no question!

Incredible meal with just the most phenomenal nuanced flavors. Highly recommend the halibut and the pollo portofino . The cocktails are wonderful. The atmosphere is lovely with beautiful festive decorations and the service is impeccable. Very busy location Saturday night we couldn’t walk through the guest was waiting outside in a cold to get in we waited for 30 minutes for a table but everything was worth-it

My dining experience at Donatella's in Harrington Park on 1/11/25 was one of the worst I've ever had, and other customers said the same thing. My reservation for 2 was at 7:30 pm. We were seated after 8:30. We had to borrow menus from another table. Our order was taken after 9. Our appetizers arrived close to 9:30 and our entrees close to 10 pm. The couple next to us also had a 7:30 reservation but never got their entrees and left around 10 pm. Our food tasted good, as it usually does, but that doesn’t make up for the terrible service. Donatella's should have advised customers there would be significant delays. But they didn't. I've worked as a waitress myself, and if the kitchen was backed up or something happened to affect a dining experience, we were told to offer a free dessert, or a drink, or adjust the bill, or do something to try to make it up to the customer. It's a common practice at most restaurants, and good customer service. Donatella's didn't offer anything, other than apologies from the waiter. Due to terrible service, Donatella's has lost me a customer.

One and Done. Not worth going back. They sat us 40 minutes after our 7:15 reservation time and it went Downhill from there. We had to ask for water, bread, butter and salt & pepper shakers. Service was world class worst as we did not have a waiter or waitress assigned to our table. Menus were gross and the manager defended that by saying they replace them every couple of weeks. Food came out wrong and cold. We finally got out of there at 10:10 skipping dessert and skipping coffee.

first time there. the stuffed artichoke was amazing. food very good. i was disappointed with the service. i know they were short staffed. and really noticed it towards the end. i look forward to trying it again
