Created in partnership with hospitality icon Nick Di Donato of the Liberty Entertainment Group, Don Alfonso 1890 Toronto is the only North American location of world-renowned Michelin Star Chefs Alfonso and Ernesto Iaccarino’s Don Alfonso 1890. Sitting atop the iconic Westin Harbour Castle, on the edge of Lake Ontario, the spacious new location on the 38th floor, offers stunning views of the city skyline and Toronto’s harbor. Guests will enjoy a Kobe Beef inspired tasting menu prepared by our Michelin Star Executive Chef Davide Ciavattella. Each course will be enjoyed alongside curated wine pairings selected to highlight the Kobe Beef. The Kimono Butcher is the first female to travel the world to showcase the mastery of Japanese butchery techniques of Kobe Beef. Renowned for its exceptional quality and melt-in-your-mouth marbling, Kobe beef is a prized and highly sought-after Japanese delicacy, celebrated for its unparalleled tenderness and rich, buttery flavor. It is a delicacy and a staple of Japanese cuisine and culture.

Allow us to pick you up for an unforgettable evening in our Rolls-Royce Ghost. This exclusive experience includes return transportation to-and -from Don Alfonso 1890 and Michelin Star tasting menu dinner for two. The experience is $1,000 per couple. Parties of 4 are $1,800 if they’re at the same address and $2,000 if there will be a second pickup/drop off location. Dinner reservations for this experience are 6:30pm and 8:30pm. Our driver will pick you up 30-45 minutes prior to your reservation. Our pickup radius is limited to the GTA. The service is top notch 10/10. They’re very attentive and pay a lot of attention to details. Our server was phenomenal and went above and beyond to make our dining experience more special for my partner’s birthday. I forgot her name but she was younger, short dark hair and had an accent. However, I was very underwhelmed with the ambiance/decor. I was expecting a bit more but i think the view is the selling feature so they aren’t focused on the interior too much (it’s hard to see the view at night though). Food was good, some dishes were better than others. The beef carpaccio and lobster were my least favourite out of the 3 courses. Having a Michelin star and at that price point, you would expect every dish to be fantastic. The pasta with lamb, eel gelato, bison tenderloin and desserts were really good though. It was a great experience to celebrate a birthday but don’t think we’ll be going back.

This restaurant is a special experience. We enjoyed a 9 course menu of exquisitely presented unique dishes. The balance of tastes and textures were works of art. Nothing disappointed. Canapés flavours were perfection. Fantastic selection of unique cocktails and wines. By far the best dining experience we had in our 60 plus years

My wife and I flew in from Washington, DC for our anniversary. We picked Don Alfonso to celebrate. We didn’t signature tasting menu, which was excellent. The service provided was also excellent. There was always someone coming by to fill our waters, provide clean cutlery for each course, and talk to us about each course. The only thing that was a bit frustrating was that it was very loud in the restaurant, so it was hard to understand the servers who were delivering each course and explaining them.
