Orange County's newest upscale dining experience is now open on Lake Mission Viejo! Well known for our iconic location in Long Beach, Domenico’s was one of the first restaurants to serve pizza in California and is famous for our legendary pizzas and amazing Italian and American inspired dishes. Domenico's on the Lake is an upscale take on our original location featuring new steak and seafood entrees, while still featuring the original recipes that have made us an institution in Southern California.

NOTE: OUR LAKESIDE PATIO HAS LIMITED SEATING AND CANNOT BE GUARANTEED BECAUSE THE DEMAND OFTEN EXCEEDS AVAILABILITY. PATIO SEATING REQUESTS ARE SUBJECT TO A WAIT.

Great experience. Went for a birthday dinner and everything was amazing; the staff, the environment, the food, kitchen service was quick, the drinks were delicious ( we were able to accommodate one of the drinks with the recommendations of our server Caitie). Mike the owner came up and spoke to us, welcomed us to his restaurant and was glad we were enjoying ourselves. Definitely recommending this restaurant to friends who are visiting for good food and better service. Thank you Caitie and everyone else who made the night great.

The perfect place to dine for any occasion. Great staff. They took care of all of our needs. Food, drinks and ambiance definitely deserving of the 5 star!

One of our favorite spots to eat. Lasagna is exceptional, as are all of the dishes. Tomato Bisque soup is a must starter. The view of the lake is so peaceful, and the wait staff strike the balance between allowing you time for a relaxing meal and paying attention to your needs. Definitely one of our go-to spots for an enjoyable meal.

First time trying this place for valentine’s dinner. Services was outstanding from the moment we entered until we left. I got the new york steak and it was super juicy and that green sauce that comes with it was out of this world good. Very reasonably priced and portions were above expectations. On top of all that the view of the lake is just an added bonus.

Recently, a discussion came up with high school friends about Domenico's while growing up through the late 50s through early 70s. Our parents would order the salad and spaghetti from the Hawaiian Gardens location, and they would pick up the order for us to eat at home. I recall the salad as being the best item from the restaurant. I remember the salad dressing was light, creamy and flavorful. Obviously, it had a lasting impression. So finally I drove up from San Diego to meet my sister from Huntington Beach at Domenico's on The Lake. The salad was disappointing, along with the $10 price for a very, very small serving! Nothing about it was special any more. The dressing was chunky, so it did not coat the romaine lettuce at all. Plus, it didn't have the robust flavor I was looking forward to. We ordered several dishes and they were okay in flavor, nothing unique. Dad thought the sand dabs were meh. We also ordered a puttanesca pizza, even though the server never heard of it. The pizza is not wood-fired so the dough is not what we're use to these days. It was a bit on the chewy, heavy, uncooked side with too many black olives. Service was good, view was pleasant. I'm pretty sure we won't be returning.

Wonderful Valentine evening dinner. My concern is that I had an 8:30 pm reservation. I ordered the New York Steak Medium Rare. It was served medium well. I am a brittle diabetic and if I sent the steak back to the kitchen, it could have been at least a 15 minute delay before I could eat. I did not want my blood sugar levels to drop to a dangerous low. The rest of my party would have completed their dinner, since the food portions were quite small. Other than this concern, I recommend this establishment and will dine here again.
