Dolly's café is named after the Dolly Sisters, a pair of glamorous identical twins who entertained audiences in the 1920s alongside our founder Harry Gordon Selfridges – with their enchanting performances.

Our art deco-inspired café, located at the heart of the store, is the perfect place to enjoy the great British tradition of afternoon tea.

Waitress was amazing. Food was poor value. Queue outside wrapped around the table area and was loud. Air con not high enough on a hot day. Queued 15 minutes for a toilet visit. Very disappointing and it was meant to be a treat for my friend.

We had the afternoon tea. Everything was lovely. The food was plentiful and delicious and staff were very friendly and accommodating. For the price it was good value.

Had a lovely afternoon yesterday 29th June at dollys, lovely creamy latte and the cakes were gorgeous good value for money and the staff were extremely helpful and chatty. Would definitely return.

We expected your posh stripe China as a friend had been and sent me photos. The waitress said you had to request that, I did not realise same. Our table for 2 was beside the escalator so we felt we were a bit out of the restaurant to be honest.

Food was OK for the price and the ambience. It is located inside a shopping center so it did not feel cozy or special. I really wanted an afternoon tea experience in London and this would not be my first choice if I visited again. I booked a table but that was not necessary since the place was not busy.The service was rather slow. We had to request water twice. Perhaps the server felt that since we were requesting "house water" as she put it, it was not a priority.

Staff didn’t look happy, speed of service was slow. Didn’t go through the menu, ended up having a crosiant and left!

The service was awful, food arrived before drinks. Sat with empty glasses and empty plates for over an hour. Nobody came over for anything.
