We went for brunch. It’s a nice place but very dark. There are lots of steps to climb so that may be a problem for some. The food was ok. I had eggs Benedict - it came with potatoes and a salad. The eggs and potatoes were not hot enough. The salad was good. I had to ask for salt and pepper. We had to ask for sweetener for the coffee. Everyone was very nice but a little neglectful. That worked in our favor as we had time to kill. It’s pricey, as is everything these days. I don’t think eggs benedict or a breakfast burrito should be $21. As there are so many options in the city I don’t think we would go back. People at the next table ordered a mimosa flight. That looked interesting. One positive is free refills on the coffee which is important at brunch.

Food not good but ambiance very nice Maybe a place to just grab drinks burger was very dry and bun terrible. pancakes very dry more like a cake than fluffy and moist. Staff was friendly.

Dolly Varden is a fun place to dine pre theatre or after work. The menu has delicious options, and the bar is fully stocked. Try it.

Very nice server. Delicious food. The pork belly baos and the beef ragu were amazing. I wish we could have stayed for the trivia.

Love Dolly Varden, just don’t expect fast service on a Monday evening. Looks like fewer staff on hand because there’s less of the pre theater crowd.
