   Not the Dolce of five years ago. On a positive note, nice greeting at the door still there. Quickly got to our reserved table. However, the laminated menus tell it all. Wish there was one waiter/waitress but the rotating staff and constant flow of trying to remove our plates cut into any intimate conversation we could have had. What happened to an introduction and a friendly face that frequents your table just the right amount of time instead of a parade ? Food was tasty but no specials were offered on a Friday night? We mildly enjoyed our experience, felt rushed and disappointed our evening was loud, less friendly, a churn of an evening.

   We have driven by this place a million times and never ventured in. We will now add it to the rotation. We had the prosciutto and burrata as an appetizer and then split the carbonara. Both were fantastic - simple and perfectly done. Highly recommend. Although it’s in a strip mall in a high traffic area, you would never know. The curtains and lighting give it a quaint and private feel.

   Love the food and ambiance here. After several visits, everyone has enjoyed their dinners. Try to make a reservation since it’s a smaller restaurant.

   Food is excellent but prices for ancillary items are very high. $12 for a house cab, $12 for a shot of Bailey’s in a coffee (plus $4 for the coffee), $11 for a small Caesar salad. $180 for 2 entrees, 2 salads, 4 house wines, and 2 coffees.

   This is one of my pasta-go-to restaurants in Charlotte. I've been several times over the years and never disappointed.

   We had a perfect dinner! Food was excellent. Wait staff were friendly and attentive. Now consider this one of our favorite restaurants.

   I was here about a year ago and I felt it was pretty good and the service was excellent. Not this time. The food was good not great. I mean I had the chicken Parm, my wife had the Penne ala Vodka. Same dishes we had at Little Mamas for a lot less. The quality was about the same. I would even say that the chicken parm was better at little Mamas as the chicken parm here was burned around the edges. My wife’s Penne was good and a reasonable portion. We also had the Limoncello cake. It was outstanding but a rather small portion. The service was just horrible. The person that was assisting was also managing the reservations and sitting people down so we did not get her full attention. We wanted more bread and he had to ask another waiter because she would not stop by and when we finally got it they just set on the corner of the table without even looking at us. It even took to long to ask for dessert as no one was stopping by.. I guess we will not be coming back. There are way to many options in charlotte to have to suffer through bad service and high prices.

   I called two hours before my reservation to cancel because my relationship had just ended. They wouldn’t let me cancel without charging me $40 so I had to sit there on Valentine’s Day and have a meal by myself for 20 minutes. I’d work on that policy

    Our favorite Valentine’s Day Restaurant! The service was great and the food is amazing.
