The food was not outstanding... overcooked and pricey. Service however, was excellent. Nice atmosphere inside... plenty of room yet cosy. But standard of food needs improving.

First time trying this with the family. food was just ok and nothing to write home about. its just standard pub food and nothing to wow you. cold veg with Sunday dinner was not the best. The burger meat was fine but the hard tomato and the bun was not the best. the pub itself was nice and set up well. hopefully the food will get better in the future as you can see the potential.

Lovely meal . Food was freshly made and everyone enjoyed everything they had. One suggestion is that the vegetarian starters are limited. Staff friendly. Definitely coming again.

Every thing was very nice except my wife’s coleslaw which looked like it had been left in a fridge for some hours. It was discoloured on the exposed area. Other than that we had a good tasty meal

The food is nice, overpriced for the quality you get, hence the rating. Service was good, staff friendly but the whole time there was an over powering and pervading scent of vanilla and almond that was so strong you could taste it. Kept looking for a plug in diffuser but ended up to be the staff and their perfume.

My friend and I had lunch at the Dog and Puckle this week. We were welcomed and treated with attentiveness. We both felt extremely relaxed, and enjoyed our meals tremendously. Thanks to all who made our visit so nice!!
