    food was cold , and some of it was wrong on the fish and chips , and chicken had no taste

    Very friendly staff. A good menu choice and the food was delicious. The outdoor seating is quite close to the road but indoors (where we were) was very spacious and comfortable. Will return.

    There was a good choice of menu and reasonably priced. The food was cooked well and tasted excellent. The staff were very attentive. The dining area was impressive with its beamed ceiling. Would definitely eat there again if in the area.

    Pleasant place to visit, it was clean and the food was OK We ordered salad, pizza, and beef roast. We sat inside. We all felt that the room looked tired. Service was good and with a smile, prices were a bit higher than other nearby venues, we are happy to pay but felt that the whole experience wasn't fantastic value for money.

    I had the roast beef Sunday dinner,the beef was so tender and delicious. Served with fresh vegetables and Yorkshire pudding. Would recommend.

    Always excellent food and service at The Dog & Pickle and the staff are lovely. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    The food was not outstanding... overcooked and pricey. Service however, was excellent. Nice atmosphere inside... plenty of room yet cosy. But standard of food needs improving.

    First time trying this with the family. food was just ok and nothing to write home about. its just standard pub food and nothing to wow you. cold veg with Sunday dinner was not the best. The burger meat was fine but the hard tomato and the bun was not the best. the pub itself was nice and set up well. hopefully the food will get better in the future as you can see the potential.
