The award winning Coach House Tea Room at Doddington Hall offers an exquisite Afternoon Tea experience that promises to be a treat for everyone. With an array of options, it's a perfect setting for indulging in a leisurely afternoon with friends or loved ones.

Delight in a delicious selection of finger sandwiches, Hambleton’s special breed pork sausage roll, freshly baked scones with clotted cream and jam accompanied by an array of famous Doddington cakes and sweet treats with the option of additional extras and upgrades.

Choose sittings from; 12.00pm, 12.30pm, 2.30pm or 3.00pm.

Please note that your table is available for 1.5 hours from your booking time. We recommend pre-booking online to avoid disappointment. Walk-ins subject to availability.

Well worth the money & experience, superb food very quick service More than enough food laid out Even a box to take your food home you couldn't eat Will definitely go again

Overall experience was pleasant, food and staff were good but felt that the venue was sterile and lacked character. My wife did not like the plastic flowers on the table, she felt that a country house could have provided fresh flowers. Signage to the Tea Room from the car park was non existent, we had to ask in the cafe for directions to the Tea Room, which was very annoying as it was our first time there and it was pouring with rain!

Very good. Food fresh and varied. Staff brilliant, professional, not intrusive or in your face but seemed to b3 there when needed. Ambience suited the service. Biggest scones I have ever had. Sandwiches very tasty each one was a different bread, nice touch. Weather outside was torrential rain, ehike inside was warm and friendly. 11/10 experience. That much food served, brought some home in two boxes.

Third time we have had afternoon tea and never disappoints. As I am gluten free I get to enjoy a delicious afternoon tea

My two cousins and I had a most enjoyable afternoon tea at Doddington Hall . The sandwiches were fresh and very nice. The scones were maybe a bit on the dry side , but still we ate them and enjoyed them, could have done with a bit more clotted cream to go with the jam. The Lemon tart was particularly lovely as were the other bits. The staff were very friendly and attentive . They refilled out teapots and brought more milk when we asked . Overall would thoroughly recommend a visit.

When i booked Afternoon Tea . I asked if it was possible to be near a door that could be opened due to my grandaughter having possible seizures . When we got there the staff could have not been more accomodating to us .We were right next to a door and the waitress opened it slightly , so it was a bit cooler .. The ambience inside was airy , plenty of room in between tables and not crowded. There was light music playing in the background to support with the atmosphere . Once we had chosen which Afternoon Tea we wanted , it was brought to us within 5 -10 mins , however our choice of drink was brought to myself, daughter and grandaughter straight away . The staff were very attentive and made sure that we were happy with everything . We even had our teapots refilled .. The choice of sandwiches, cakes and of course the very large scone with jam and clotted cream looked amazing . We couldnt manage to eat everything , so the staff offered small individual boxes for us , so that we could take home, to enjoy later in the day . It was worth every penny and we would book to visit again in the future
