The award winning Coach House Tea Room at Doddington Hall offers an exquisite Afternoon Tea experience that promises to be a treat for everyone. With an array of options, it's a perfect setting for indulging in a leisurely afternoon with friends or loved ones.

Delight in a delicious selection of finger sandwiches, Hambleton’s special breed pork sausage roll, freshly baked scones with clotted cream and jam accompanied by an array of famous Doddington cakes and sweet treats with the option of additional extras and upgrades.

Choose sittings from; 12.00pm, 12.30pm, 2.30pm or 3.00pm.

Please note that your table is available for 1.5 hours from your booking time. We recommend pre-booking online to avoid disappointment. Walk-ins subject to availability.

My two cousins and I had a most enjoyable afternoon tea at Doddington Hall . The sandwiches were fresh and very nice. The scones were maybe a bit on the dry side , but still we ate them and enjoyed them, could have done with a bit more clotted cream to go with the jam. The Lemon tart was particularly lovely as were the other bits. The staff were very friendly and attentive . They refilled out teapots and brought more milk when we asked . Overall would thoroughly recommend a visit.

When i booked Afternoon Tea . I asked if it was possible to be near a door that could be opened due to my grandaughter having possible seizures . When we got there the staff could have not been more accomodating to us .We were right next to a door and the waitress opened it slightly , so it was a bit cooler .. The ambience inside was airy , plenty of room in between tables and not crowded. There was light music playing in the background to support with the atmosphere . Once we had chosen which Afternoon Tea we wanted , it was brought to us within 5 -10 mins , however our choice of drink was brought to myself, daughter and grandaughter straight away . The staff were very attentive and made sure that we were happy with everything . We even had our teapots refilled .. The choice of sandwiches, cakes and of course the very large scone with jam and clotted cream looked amazing . We couldnt manage to eat everything , so the staff offered small individual boxes for us , so that we could take home, to enjoy later in the day . It was worth every penny and we would book to visit again in the future

Just a very good place to go for a treat or a special occasion. Food was delicious and the staff were lovely. We had a great time

Thoroughly enjoyable experience in a lovely environment where both the food and service were first class. The first time I have been to Doddington Tea Rooms and it will not be the last.

The food and the service was excellent . Nothing was too much trouble and staff attentive. There was so much food we were given boxes to take cakes home.

What a beautiful place we got married here 20 years ago and going back was magical. The house and gardens are stunning and the afternoon tea was in the little house where we were married. The food service and everything about the day was superb. The tables are spaced for comfort and privacy and nothing was too much trouble.

Very disappointing. Price has gone up considerably but the quantity of food has gone down also considerably. Bun was dry and inedible. Sandwich were so thin that they were barely this thickness of my finger. We have been several times and brought as gifts for friends and family but sadly I wont be buying again as it would be embarrassing.

Lovely place and lovely food. Let down by the lack of signs to tell visitors where the tea room was
