The award winning Coach House Tea Room at Doddington Hall offers an exquisite Afternoon Tea experience that promises to be a treat for everyone. With an array of options, it's a perfect setting for indulging in a leisurely afternoon with friends or loved ones.

Delight in a delicious selection of finger sandwiches, Hambleton’s special breed pork sausage roll, freshly baked scones with clotted cream and jam accompanied by an array of famous Doddington cakes and sweet treats with the option of additional extras and upgrades.

Choose sittings from; 12.00pm, 12.30pm, 2.30pm or 3.00pm.

Please note that your table is available for 1.5 hours from your booking time. We recommend pre-booking online to avoid disappointment. Walk-ins subject to availability.

Very nice area for a cream tea, view to the outdoor space. Would be gorgeous on a sunny day.

We enjoyed it but have had better, sandwiches were getting stale and one had no ham in it. The watercress was wilted and soggy so picked that out. The cheese scone was very heavy but the fruit scone was light and delicious. Overall it was nice.

One of the best venues for Afternoon Tea I have experienced. Situated in a large high ceiling room which has large picture windows looking onto a tranquil well kept garden. The afternoon tea gave two options of which I chose the traditional as it included a delicious sausage roll. I would have liked another savoury option, but that is just my taste.

Really enjoyed afternoon tea our third visit and never had a bad experience. Food is amazing and love that you can choose between savoury or sweet. Staff are always polite and friendly.

Outstanding experience. I have specific dietary requirements, which were met above my expectations. The message that I had sent on the booking form had been noted and the food supplied went above and beyond 'just' meeting my requirements. I could not have received better service if I had paid three times the price.

A lovely experience and treat. I was very impressed that there were two choices of menu on offer. My husband enjoyed the traditional tea and as I am prediabetic, I was able to opt for a more savoury option. Both were beautifully served and presented on a pristinely laid table in a delightful tearoom.
