The Dockside Restaurant offers superbly prepared classic dishes in a setting like no other. Located on the waterfront where Granville Island faces the city, guests can enjoy panoramic views across False Creek to the world-famous cityscape of Yaletown and beyond to the mountains of the North Shore.



The open dining room is relaxed yet refined, wrapped in spectacular floor to ceiling windows, while the lounge offers warm intimate surroundings for evening cocktails. The award-winning patio catches sunlight from morning to late afternoon. Protected on three sides it’s an oasis of calm, disturbed only by the occasional sound of boats making their way along False Creek. Recent renovations have added fireplaces and casual seating areas to this Vancouver destination.

    Our server, Laura was efficient and friendly! Excellent service. Food was tasty and pleasing for all at the table

    It is when something goes wrong that you really see how good a place is. One of our party didn't like their order, something in the order (that was listed on the menu) wasn't something they liked. The waitress, without any fuss at all, had the chef re-make the order minus that ingredient. No discomfort, no embarrassment, no charge. The place itself is gorgeous and the food amazing. The muscles were done to perfection - haven't tasted any that great since Brussels.

    The food was exceptional and not overpriced. The desert was decadent. The service was outstanding making for a romantic evening with my partner. Thank you for the wonderful experience. We will be back.

    Everything was great for our fondu dinner, and the service was excellent, but both desserts fell flat.

    The food was very mediocre. The steak, while cooked to temp, lacked flavour and looked almost grey on the outside. Wine wasn’t poured at the table. Oysters were hit or miss. Overall, disappointing food at the price point.

    It was super unclear that the only menu available for Feb 14th would be the Valentine's Day menu, which was $90 per person. I completely understand that the restaurant had a set menu as it was a busy night, but no where was this stated, and the staff were not willing to allow a sharing of the 4 courses for one $90 meal instead. The food was not up to par with the price either nor could the restaurant do basic math on a discount had received.

    Went here for Valentine’s day. We tried their 4 course dinner and it did not disappoint us. The food was delicious and the ambiance setting was romantic with petals on the table. Our server Kevin, was fabulous. Will definitely be back again.
