The Dockside Restaurant offers superbly prepared classic dishes in a setting like no other. Located on the waterfront where Granville Island faces the city, guests can enjoy panoramic views across False Creek to the world-famous cityscape of Yaletown and beyond to the mountains of the North Shore.



The open dining room is relaxed yet refined, wrapped in spectacular floor to ceiling windows, while the lounge offers warm intimate surroundings for evening cocktails. The award-winning patio catches sunlight from morning to late afternoon. Protected on three sides it’s an oasis of calm, disturbed only by the occasional sound of boats making their way along False Creek. Recent renovations have added fireplaces and casual seating areas to this Vancouver destination.

    It’s a lovely spot. But the food was mediocre. I’ve eaten here many times, but the food has declined. It’s fine, it’s just very expensive corned ever what it is. The service and patio are top notch.

    Great place by the water with incredible view. Food was exquisite. Fairly priced for the quality. Was a bit busy even on a Thursday. Stuff was helpful , everything arrived fast!

    Dockside has been our GoTo for years. The patio offers plenty of accommodating seating options and a pleasant & soothing ambience. The quality of the service is outstanding and the Menu offering will keep you coming back for more.

    The setting is why we come here on a sunny day but I wish there was dedicated pay parking for restaurant patrons and not just for overnight hotel guests. It took me half an hour to find parking which lead to a stressful start to my my lunch meeting. Service, wine and food were very good.

    Dockside Restaurant is my favourite restaurant. Outdoor patio, the best in the City & located on Granville Island is a bonus. The food/service is always outstanding. I do think a little on the pricey side, but the quality of food is exceptional, always. Dined out with my daughter on a gift card I received from my Supervisor for my retirement. We tried/shared the OYSTER MUSHROOM CALAMARI, KING PRAWN SCAMPI & the TUNA TATAKI. All amazing. Had a delightful little drink called The Red Belle (Fire Roasted Pepper infused Ketel One Vodka, house made Strawberry-beet cordial, fresh lemon juice, egg white & dehydrated strawberry dust). We topped it off with an amazing desert, Summer Citrus (decadent white chocolate mousse with a passion fruit core, beetroot crumble, baked meringue & berry sorbet). Highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner. You will never be disappointed.

    Very pleasant outdoor seating with plenty of shade from noon on. Most pleasant wait staff. Everyone’s food was excellent.

    Nice first time visit to the Dockside. High caliber of service staff which we greatly appreciated. We were disappointed the brunch menu wasn't being offered on the holiday Monday as we planned the visit based on those food items. However, no complaimts about the florentine benefict and chicken burger ordered. Would return with family to enjoy the ambiance and patio seating.

    Fantastic restaurant. We stayed at the hotel so r joyed breakfast and dinner ! Food was scrumptious - wish I had a restaurant like this close to us at home …we’d go all the time.!!! Staff superb and stunning views
