The Dockside Restaurant offers superbly prepared classic dishes in a setting like no other. Located on the waterfront where Granville Island faces the city, guests can enjoy panoramic views across False Creek to the world-famous cityscape of Yaletown and beyond to the mountains of the North Shore.



The open dining room is relaxed yet refined, wrapped in spectacular floor to ceiling windows, while the lounge offers warm intimate surroundings for evening cocktails. The award-winning patio catches sunlight from morning to late afternoon. Protected on three sides it’s an oasis of calm, disturbed only by the occasional sound of boats making their way along False Creek. Recent renovations have added fireplaces and casual seating areas to this Vancouver destination.

    Large patio outside is perfect for a summer evening meal. Seabreeze is super pleasant. Food was great - especially if you like seafood, they have many seafood to choose from, but also good salads and my kid had their pizza which was also excellent.

    I had avoided Dockside last year as the menu was disappointing. A new Chef and Manager have picked from when it was great - and I've been back 3 times for lunch since the new summer menu was launched. I had perfectly cooked mussels today - and tasty scallops. Citrus white chocolate dessert with sorbet was excellent.

    Had a wonderful time sitting on the patio with a great view..have been there before and will definitely come back.

    Cost was high and the lamb was mostly fat. They brought me a new risotto as it was too spicy. We were able to have a small side salad for $5.00. The sorbet was a very good deal with 3 big scoops for $12.00. Staff and service was great.

    Great patio for brunch on a sunny warm day. Staff were accommodating in finding us a suitable table in the shade with a fabulous view. Brought guests from out of the country and they were impressed. I would go back again.

    Location with relaxing harbour view was excellent. Food was delicious and well priced. However our server seemed to disappear for chunks of time and random other staff would drop in. As a result there were long delays for extra bread, another glass of wine and even a coffee to go with the delicious meal. Hopefully this was just a unique dilemma for this evening only.

    It’s a lovely spot. But the food was mediocre. I’ve eaten here many times, but the food has declined. It’s fine, it’s just very expensive corned ever what it is. The service and patio are top notch.
