The Dockside Restaurant offers superbly prepared classic dishes in a setting like no other. Located on the waterfront where Granville Island faces the city, guests can enjoy panoramic views across False Creek to the world-famous cityscape of Yaletown and beyond to the mountains of the North Shore.



The open dining room is relaxed yet refined, wrapped in spectacular floor to ceiling windows, while the lounge offers warm intimate surroundings for evening cocktails. The award-winning patio catches sunlight from morning to late afternoon. Protected on three sides it’s an oasis of calm, disturbed only by the occasional sound of boats making their way along False Creek. Recent renovations have added fireplaces and casual seating areas to this Vancouver destination.

    Very pleasant outdoor seating with plenty of shade from noon on. Most pleasant wait staff. Everyone’s food was excellent.

    Nice first time visit to the Dockside. High caliber of service staff which we greatly appreciated. We were disappointed the brunch menu wasn't being offered on the holiday Monday as we planned the visit based on those food items. However, no complaimts about the florentine benefict and chicken burger ordered. Would return with family to enjoy the ambiance and patio seating.

    Fantastic restaurant. We stayed at the hotel so r joyed breakfast and dinner ! Food was scrumptious - wish I had a restaurant like this close to us at home …we’d go all the time.!!! Staff superb and stunning views

    Took so much effort to get anyone’s attention to take our order. 20 minutes in I finally got up and walked over to the kitchen to be noticed. The staff did not bother to include the lunch or the dinner menu and we were stuck with limited happy hour menu in the meantime. The beer glass was stained with some food residue and they ended up waiving the cost of the beer. The $40 halibut menu item was tiny and not worth the price. Not impressed and won’t consider visiting again.

    Great to be able to sit on the patio and the food was very good. We were able to sit for about 2 hours plus the weather cooperated as well

    Unusually quiet for a Friday evening. Guess the tourists were out and about. My cioppino was great if a little skimpy, my husband was disappointed the fries were not French style - he does not like big chunky ones - but he enjoyed the steak. Very pleasant waiter. Well paced food service.

    Always pleasurable experience dining at Dockside. Love being near the water and watching the boats docked while dining.
