Docks Off 5th is steps away from Radio City Music Hall & Rockefeller Center. Guests can expect an unforgettable dining experience with Instagram-worthy dishes, drinks and décor. At Docks we always say "the camera eats first". We are open for brunch & dinner seven days a week. Docks is a go-to spot for celebrations, special occasions, and private events for locals and visitors.

The elevated, but approachable space features a unique family-friendly menu that takes on flavors of old world and new world dishes and adds an artistic twist. A signature bar will offer mixologist-inspired takes on classic favorites while still boasting an impressive list of more traditional cocktails. I went there for my birthday with my group of friends and overall the best thing about the place is just the venue aesthetics. That’s the best thing about the place. It was it’s cute to be at. It’s great for pictures. Other than that they stuck my group in like a dark corner. It was nothing cute about the corner was barely any lighting. Once there it took quite some time for the drinks to come out for the food to come out. they didn’t really have anything for birthdays. I brought my own cake. I figured they would bring it out with maybe two or three people sing happy birthday like a majority of other restaurants do they didn’t they just brought it out in the box that it came in didn’t even give us knives any small plates. We have to ask them for knives. Ask them plates, we had to ask for more bags because it was five of us. They brought us six Takeaway boxes and one bag. The food was subpar. The appetizers were better. The main course was OK. Two of my friends got steaks and the steaks were terrible. They were bland no taste. They just cooked it. It tasted like nothing. I probably won’t go back because it wasn’t worth the money. Also, the entrance coming in you have to come downstairs and the stairs. I don’t know if they were outdated because they look outdated. They look like a safety, hazard, and my friend slipped and fell on them and she sprayed her ankle.

The steps going down into the restaurant are steep and need to be repaired. No elevator is available. The drinks are excellent, the food is mediocre.

Great Decor, love love, love what was done to the place (Many moons ago, I would come ride the bull and have my favorite Honeydew drink when Johnny Utah's was located here. Food was delicious, the bartender (Anthony) made awesome drinks, and my server was great. I will definitely be back again.

The food and atmosphere here is wonderful. The rose/ flower ceiling and walls give a romantic vibe that would be great for couples, friend dates, or an overall nice brunch environment. The bottomless mimosa option was absolutely amazing for me and my partner. There are a few flavors for you to choose from if you choose the mimosa option. Our waitress was awesome. There was a shift change during the time our food was ordered in which a new waiter was assigned to us. This caused us to have to reorder food for it to be fresh as the food was never picked up. However, the manager and the previous waitress accommodated us to the max. I ordered the shrimp and grits and a side truffle fries ( a vegan option for any vegan eaters out there) and my partner ordered the chicken and waffles ( with bone in wings). We enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the understanding staff. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We arrived on time for our reservation..had to wait 20 minutes for our table and once sat we waiting 40 minutes to have only been served water.. The music was so ridiculously loud the bass vibrated my soul.. needless to say after an hour and only receiving water we left.

I would recommend this place. The vibe the food was great. Made a reservation for 2 for birthday and had to wait, but they found a table after not too long. Some awkward wait times for service but didn’t drastically affect experience.

Celebrated my dgtr’s bday and it was everything! The food, service and the music were amazing!!! We’ll definitely be back!

The restaurant has a policy of not seating incomplete parties. This is not mentioned in their restaurant information. I usually arrive early for my dinner reservations. I enjoy sitting at the table enjoying a beverage unwinding a bit before my party arrives. I understand that a restaurant may have this policy but I do have to point out that the restaurant was nearly empty I could see only about 10% of the tables were occupied. I have been to the Docks on the east side and they do not have this policy. A great place by the way.
