Born out of our love of fine wines and delicious food, Dock of the Bay - Gravenhurst has become the premiere location for casual dining in Muskoka. After traveling the world and sampling different cuisines, we decided to make our way back home and bring the world to us.

Chef Darren serves gourmet meals prepared with only the freshest produce. We ensure the quality of our dishes with the quality of our ingredients.

Our biggest challenge was finding the right, high-quality ingredients for the dishes we wanted to serve. We are dedicated to offering only the finest and freshest foods. We have also taken great care in assembling a team of only the best chefs, experienced kitchen and servers.

The restaurant is on the lake and it's gorgeous but the food was hit or miss and wasn't great. We had the chicken supreme the it was so dry. It Sat on top of an apple polenta cake which was ok and the flavour combos worked. Hubby had the squid pasta with squid ink fettuccine and it was so bland it was difficult to eat. They don't have a kids menu but offered plain penne for them. I asked if it's a kids portion but the portion that came was huge, even more than adult size and I hate to see so much food go to waste. The pasta texture was odd as well, unsure if it was gluten free penne that was provided. The chocolate cake was good, but unlikely they made it in house. The prices here for what you get is too high. 12 $ for a giant scoop of ice cream as kind of ridiculous. And no offerings for kids is disappointing. Despite the goregous views, I don't recommend

Good food, but can be had elsewhere at MUCH more reasonable prices. An appetizer (rolls, small salad, small soup…whatever) would help if included in the entre price.

This was a return visit. We sat on the waterside patio overlooking beautiful Lake Muskoka on a warm pre-fall afternoon. Lovely

We were greeted right away and brought to an outdoor patio. The waitress was attentive and friendly, and the food was delicious.

Everything was done to perfection! We all had different steaks and everyone was thrilled! The service and staff are so friendly and attentive! The patio is beautiful at sunset! A true Gravenhurst gem!
