Thank you for choosing Doc Fords! If you do not see your preferred reservation time available please give us a call, we offer limited online reservations but would love to accommodate you. We unfortunately are not able to accommodate same day reservations. Reservations made less than 24 hours in advance may be canceled in our system. Walk-in's are always welcome! (We only accommodate so many reservations to allow more walk ins)

Our outdoor table space is limited. While we will do our best to accommodate specific seating requests for our reservations, please know they are not always guaranteed. If you would prefer a specific seating location, you may be subject to a small wait even with a reservation. Dockage is available on a first come, first serve basis.

For reservations larger than six, please call 727-290-9578. Any parties larger than 10 please email your inquiry to jtreservations@docfords.com. (Deposits may be held depending on number of party).

My gluten free rum cocktail and gluten free meal were good. I had confidence in the wait staff after using their GF menu and I didn’t have any issues - I am very symptomatic. We watched the sun go down and enjoyed our table outside in a different area than the live music. There was also seating inside and an interesting gift shop. The group next to us said it was their 3rd night eating there that week!

Three of us enjoyed our lunch starting with a dozen oysters to share. We then had a fish sandwich, a greens salad with grilled shrimp, and fish tacos. All of us enjoyed our meals and we would definitely go back again.

Waiter was attentive, drinks were good, the food especially the shrimp & grits was flavorful and had my friend almost licking the plate for more of the delicious sauce. We will be back !

Had a wonderful meal at Doc Ford’s tonight. I started with the Shrimp Ceviche appetizer and it was delicious and plentiful! My husband got the crabcakes and he enjoyed them as well as the slaw that comes with them. For my entree, I had the cedar planked salmon. Very good! I subbed jasmine rice for the au gratin potatoes. The spinach/mushroom vegetable was yummy. Hubby got the burger. He said it was one of the best he’s had! Our server, Crystal was terrific, attentive and personable. A great evening overall!

Love Doc Fords! The toasted coconut pinacolada is delicious! Calamari is the best around and our meals were scrumptious! Our waiter was awesome and he provided amazing service! Great experience as always!

The time to get seated was quick as it wasn’t busy there. I appreciated this. I had a wedge salad and the risotto and seafood special. The salad was a good portion for the price. The risotto was okay, and I liked the scallops and shrimp that accompanied it. For the price I probably wouldn’t order it again though. The fish special was offered but was out of stock. For a restaurant that was slow that night, I felt that should’ve been known but there was a comparable dish that the server helped us choose. For a slow night the server wasn’t slow but she wasn’t attentive either. All in all it was a good value and I’ll return soon.

We dined at Doc Ford’s for my birthday, a seafood spot that came highly recommended, and overall, it was a positive experience. The service was exceptional— Jenny was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was flavorful and well-prepared. However, we did encounter a couple of disappointments. The restaurant had run out of some, including a new menu item (the banana leaf grouper) we were excited to try. While this was a letdown, the staff handled it gracefully and offered great suggestions for alternatives. Despite these hiccups, the quality of the meal and the service left a good impression. I’m looking forward to returning and trying the items we missed.
