Had a great lunch here during a holiday weekend . Food was great ! The menu is eclectic and very California — lots of apps and salads and bowls that are Asian or Mexican inspired , as well as burgers and sandwiches. . They have matzoh ball soup , which is not a common starter , and it was very good — broth needed a pinch more salt but the matzoh was perfect . The chicken kebabs were very good and filling . Service was friendly and very efficient . A great choice in River North

Outstanding. Alyssa was a perfect waitress and took really good care of us. We tried a bunch of things: from Ribs to Asian bowls, to chicken sandwiches. All were 10/10. Candy bacon is a MUST. Will definitely be back

Chimichurri wings were 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. Also had the chicken skewers and chicken sandwich. Waitress was so sweet to split the kabob dish for two of us. Plenty of food, all tasty. Great service, great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

We have been dining at Doc B's for several years, and have always enjoyed the food and the efficient service. This week, we decided to try their newish brunch menu. My husband and I both ordered the egg white omelet, which was described as "Open-Faced Egg White Omelet: wilted spinach, mushrooms & jack cheese". I expected there to be a reasonable amount of spinach and mushrooms and a small sprinkling of cheese. However, it turned out to be just a sprinkling of spinach and mushrooms, and a heavy (did I say HEAVY) amount of cheese on top. People like me usually order egg white omelets because they are trying to cut down on fat by eliminating the fattiest part of the egg, which is the yolk. Why would I want a giant gob of cheese on top of my low-fat omelet? Doesn't make sense. I tried to scrape off the cheese, but it was melted into the egg, so that proved difficult. Also, when I asked for a side of toast with butter and jelly, they said they had no bread, just buns. And no jelly available at all. The skinny omelet with no sides at all seemed a bit pricey at $18. So, in summary, we were disappointed in the brunch menu. But we will probably be back for the regular lunch or dinner menu, which we always enjoy.

Our experience was great. The chef came out twice to chat with my wife about her dietary needs. And he creatively came up with a great meal for her. Food was excellent!!
