Welcome to dLeña, a Wood-Fire Mexican Cocina & Mezcaleria by Chef Richard Sandoval.

dLeña is derived from the Spanish word “leña,” meaning firewood. The restaurant is centered around it’s wood-burning grill - a nod to the rustic open-fire cooking techniques of Mexico’s past.

The menu transports diners to Mexico through a multi-sensory experience in every bite of the signature smoked entrées, fresh ceviches, and unique sharing plates. The expansive bar features hand-crafted margaritas, Latin cocktails, cervezas and vino.

CHEF'S TABLE EXPERIENCE:

Elite Margaritas. Highly recommend the guac and chips for the appetizer. Went here for a birthday and everyone got different entree's and they all were delicious. Tacos, steak, short rib, ceviche, grilled chicken etc. you can't go wrong.

Great experience- we had the bottomless brunch (no drinks). The food was super yummy and quality ingredients. Loved the tapas style and the ability to sample so many dishes. Service was fantastic. A little bit on the pricey side but definitely worth the splurge from time to time.

This was our first visit and we’re celebrating our daughter’s birthday. The food was good but service was terrible. Drinks were very very slow. We did not get our first drink order until after apps and did not get wine that was ordered for meal until after dinner so we were left to have water with our food. The apps were lean on accompanying tortillas and chips so we asked for more. They only served 3 of the 4 entrees and we had to ask twice to get the 4th entree. We shared our food with our 4th since his entree took so long and our food was getting cold. They comped the dinner drinks but the experience was very disappointing and I don’t think we will be going back.

This has become my new favorite restaurant. The ambiance was top tier and the food was amazing ! Everything was flavorful and delicious. The plus was the area down stairs, it’s giving speakeasy and had a live band. My husband and I enjoyed our time there definitely will be back.
