Everything we had was very good my guy had lamb chops and I had steak which was very tasty and tender with asparagus 😋 the Long Island was fye very good 😊👍🏽 the server was very informative and had a good personality my only complaint is it was my 1st experience at Divan and I was surprising my guy for his Bday with The Live Band but they canceled 😡 the day we went that was the main reason I chose Divan plus the ambiance, plus food!!!

The filet mignon was well seasoned and tender. The Caesar salad was fine, though the menu did not mention an anchovy would be added. The place was very nice and the staff was professional. It did feel rather cold because of the air conditioner. The biggest concern/downside is that though it was slow and not very busy, it took over an hour to get the main entree. Overall, the food was served just much too slowly.

Unfortunately we didn’t have a great experience. We came for my girlfriend’s 40th birthday. We were offered a welcome drink after waiting 30 minutes to be seated but were then charged for it. We waiting a long time for our app, which was teak tartare. The drinks we ordered came another 15 minutes after our 1 appetizer. We then waited almost 40 minutes for our dinner and my steak came raw and had to be sent back to be fired up again. The wait took so long we were running late and had to get dessert to go. We wound up going downstairs and signing our credit card receipts at the water stand on our way out. Thankfully the drinks were good and the live music, which made this not so great experience a little more enjoyable.

I brought my wife here yesterday to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary. I got word that the same people who worked over at Maple and ash have vested interest in this place. I came and upon looking at the decor I was blown away. What a beautiful place. Very lovely decor and we were warmly greeted at the door.. Once seated we were treated to complimentary lemon drop martinis. And then was greeted by our server “ Julio” ( very personable guy) and he begin to explain the menu.. what a crazy coincidence I ran into a old high school friend and then we ordered our food. I ordered the French onion soup for appetizer and my wife ordered the crab cake. The French onion soup was probably the best I’ve ordered in the city.. ( I’ve had my fair share French onion soups across the Chicagoland area and trust me.. this is the best there is) my wife ordered the ( filet) steak and kale and I ordered the half chicken with mash potato’s.. all of our food selections were delicious and top tier.. the bread service was just perfect.. and the butter that complimented it was amazing. I’m glad we came here.. you guys made our anniversary memorable… the music was lively and energetic, the staff was amazing the bathroom was clean and beautiful I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.. thanks again for your hospitality.. I’m rooting for you guys.. hopefully you all will be a chicago tradition for many years to come.

Went here for my husband’s birthday & it was a very enjoyable experience. The welcome drink was a pleasant surprise (it’s made with vodka; which I’m not a huge fan of, but the drink was overall ok; very light & refreshing) The food was very good & our waiter was beyond attentive & friendly. The live band was so good & performed music that fit seamlessly into the ambience, without being distracting Would definitely come back again

The music was WAAAYYY too loud. This spot overall had good service, food, and ambiance. Even the music was good. But we could not enjoy our friend's company, because we couldn't hear the conversation. We had to yell to one another, which dampered our experience. Lower volume on the live music, please!
