Built in the 1800 as a very modest Bajan home Dis Ole House is now living its best life hosting people to take part in our wonderful island’s culinary flavors. We offer a very stark contrast to the much grander Sam Lords Castle at which gates we are neatly nestled. We provoke curiosity and experiences where little touches like our enamel tableware will make any Bajan smile with yesteryear nostalgia. The area itself is nostalgic; Sam Lords himself must have roamed here right? We’re proud promoters of all “tings” Bajan, celebrating our ancestors, history & culture. Come drink a rum punch are two who are we to judge and try our very traditional dishes, cutters, fish cakes, roast breadfruit or our national dish Cou Cou & Flying Fish. We boast as a seafood lovers paradise, Lobster, Conch, Sea Cat(octopus) and Sea Egg(seasonal) are all among our fresh local offerings, grilled, pickled and blacken the Bajan way.

What a lovely gem in Barbados!!! My husband and I had a delicious meal (shrimp tacos are fantastic!!) and the restaurant itself is adorable! Loved the atmosphere, food and service. We will be back when we visit again!

What a setting. The house with the outdoor space beautifully decorated was fantastic. A great vibe. The service was smooth and friendly. The food delicious. Quite big portions, so don’t order too many sides. All told one of the best restaurants we have been to in Barbados.

Another lovely evening at Dis Ole House. The food and cocktails are lovely. The service is great. The music is nice and quiet enough to have a conversation. There are fans to keep you cool as well. Everyone working there is nice and friendly and professional. Definitely not to be missed in Barbados.

Really enjoyed our first time to Dis Ole House. Has a funky vibe, service was quick, helpful and friendly. Food was excellent. Live music made the evening.

Food was great when it finally came. Overall, service was extremely slow - for an appetizer and two entrees it took 2 hours, no refills, no check-ins, was not asked if we wanted desert, and we had to go find someone to ask for the check. The server disappeared.
