Award-winning chef Dipna Anand is proud to launch the newest edition to her restaurant collection in Unity Place - Dipna Anand Kitchen & Bar.

Dipna will be offering her authentic Punjabi and South Indian cuisine alongside a selection of traditional favourites at her new kitchen in the heart of Milton Keynes, amidst locally sourced seasonal ingredients for a flavour-rich, planet-friendly experience every time.

Dipna Anand grew up in London amongst a family of chefs. Feeding the nation ‘real authentic’ Indian food at their famous Brilliant Restaurant in Southall (voted as part of Ramsay’s Best for Channel 4), of which Dipna is now co-owner.

Sorry to write this review but there was nothing authentic about the overpriced food at Dipna. Seriously Dipna Anand needs to review the food possibly a trip down to India might help. Never eaten such terrible butter chicken, the pakoras were possibly frozen and not fresh, dal makhani nothing makhani about it I could go on forever. Please if this restaurant needs to survive the food needs to improve drastically. I love cooking and can provide a masterclass 😇 On a better note Ambience was good and service was fine. Not sure why the main door was kept open throughout on a cold winter evening all our feet’s were frozen by the end of the!

Good customer service from entrance to existing - staff making us feel very welcome and giving guidance on food choices etc The food menu was simple and good to choose from with a variety of dishes

Upon arriving at the restaurant, instantly i noticed while walking past the open kitchen, they dont make fresh poppadoms. A large bowl of pre cooked p-doms sat under the heated light. They take 45 seconds to cook so this was strange and needless to say they were stale when they arrived at the table. Also they arrived on a small table top cart, which aesthetically was a great idea, but the wheels were not secure so it kept rolling around. Moving onto the mains……the food arrived nice and hot, however it quickly became cold as it was cold inside the restaurant. The food lacked any distinct flavour and any pizazz that you would expect from Dipna’s food. All in all it was a very disappointing experience.

Great service, arrived early but still shown to the table. Great service, food excellent, loved my sassy lassi cocktail 🍸 looked after very well. Would definitely recommend and we will be back

Lovely surroundings, excellent service. The food was good in terms of taste. I thought some of the quantities were quite small for the vegetarian Thali. We ordered a chana masala which tasted good. It was advertised as being with pomegranate and mango - I’m guessing this was used to make the sauce as we couldn’t see these ingredients. The tastes are great - maybe to elevate it - add some chunks of mango and a sprinkle of pomegranate and coriander to the chana masala. Service was good and surroundings great.

Food was average for the price point. I wasn’t expecting an “upmarket” place to serve chilli paneer that’s got encona sauce as a base and wings that are basically buffalo wings. Plus who serves poppadoms without mixed pickle? Expensive, small portions, average quality food, small Menu, not very impressed at all. Prawn curry was very watery, not much substance to it at all. Very very disappointed. Took too long to get drinks, and the delay on food was long too.

I was left a little disappointed with the food this time. This is the second time I've eaten at this restaurant. The first time, the food was amazing, but this time, the food lacked flavour. I had the veg thali, and the Saag Aloo was not very tasty and looked so dark in colour, and the yoghurt was warm. However cannot fault the service.
