Award-winning chef Dipna Anand is proud to launch the newest edition to her restaurant collection in Unity Place - Dipna Anand Kitchen & Bar.

Dipna will be offering her authentic Punjabi and South Indian cuisine alongside a selection of traditional favourites at her new kitchen in the heart of Milton Keynes, amidst locally sourced seasonal ingredients for a flavour-rich, planet-friendly experience every time.

Dipna Anand grew up in London amongst a family of chefs. Feeding the nation ‘real authentic’ Indian food at their famous Brilliant Restaurant in Southall (voted as part of Ramsay’s Best for Channel 4), of which Dipna is now co-owner.

Really good food and our server was amazing, my only criticism is how long it took for our drinks to arrive, our starters arrived 1st, and there was a long wait between our starters and mains!

Great atmosphere and fantastic food. We booked but arrived early. I said we would sit and have a drink if the table wasn't ready but they were really accommodating and sat us at our table straight away. We then sat chatting for ages and said we weren't ready to order and again it wasn't a problem. They came back when were ready. The staff were friendly, helpful and polite. When the food arrived it was hot, fresh and delicious. Would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

The waitress was grumpy. Chicken Biryani tasted of fish and could not be eaten. Two chicken tikkas were ordered only one came and when the second one (we had to ask for another one) came it wasn’t chicken tikka so it wasn’t eaten. It’s such a shame, we live in Loughton a 10 minute walk away. The ambience and style of the restaurant was lovely. The service and the quality of the food were very disappointing.

Beautiful food in a vibrant setting. Brilliantly attentive and knowledgeable staff Would definitely visit again and would 100 percent recommend

Left 2 answerphone messages no one bothered to reply. They changed the booking by 15 minutes didn’t explain why and the restaurant was empty when we arrived. There is no way to contact the restaurant. The food was awful. We ordered 4 different dishes. The same sauce base was used for the chicken, prawn & fish curry and there were hardly any prawns, chicken or fish. The poppadoms were the size of small crackers and the dipping sauces were served in 3 thimbles even the teaspoons could not fit in and kept tipping the thimbles over. The naans were like crackers and not soft & fluffy as they should be. The venue lacked atmosphere. The food lacked flavour. All together disappointing. To top it all the payment method is only card yet they don’t tell you this until payment. EMBARRASSING for the guests that only had cash. Wake up CASH is legal tender!! If you want good Indian food do not go to this restaurant. Very! Very! Very Disappointed!

Booked as a meal on our way back from day out to Royal Ascot. Called ahead to change time as we were leaving earlier than expected, Bhavana was great on phone. Arrived, seated promptly table 5, corner of restaurant by window… Waiting staff taking orders all great, no errors. Ordered drinks, starters main course…x4 meat thali all orders ok perfect, Meat thali…sauces very bland and tastes like they had been diluted..very runny…the kofta..hnmmnn…chicken and saag aloo..same. Raita..if it was more dilute would have been milk. Asked my guests what they thought..reply was..tasted bland and sauces are dilute. I cook better at home with more flavours. Maybe the Chef would like to pop over try my cooking..or even Dipna. Had better food so definitely not on my recommendation list. Only thing I thought was spot on was the gajar halwa Papaji…we were not impressed. From one Kenyan Asian to another..could be better.

Excellent food - sadly service was very slow post first ordering. Also, whilst the sun doesn't always shine (!), the front of the restaurant could do with some blinds or similar as two people had the sun in their eyes all the time which made it a little uncomfortable. It was also very warm there - aircon might help.
