Award-winning chef Dipna Anand is proud to launch the newest edition to her restaurant collection in Unity Place - Dipna Anand Kitchen & Bar.

Dipna will be offering her authentic Punjabi and South Indian cuisine alongside a selection of traditional favourites at her new kitchen in the heart of Milton Keynes, amidst locally sourced seasonal ingredients for a flavour-rich, planet-friendly experience every time.

Dipna Anand grew up in London amongst a family of chefs. Feeding the nation ‘real authentic’ Indian food at their famous Brilliant Restaurant in Southall (voted as part of Ramsay’s Best for Channel 4), of which Dipna is now co-owner.

Poor food with overcooked / tasteless chicken tikka and awful butter chicken with bland pre made sauce with no depth of flavour. A couple of dishes like the veg samosa and fish curry helped improve the position. Sat in a seat near the fire exit when we asked for one in the window ( that remained empty all night) Our waitress from Hydrabad was excellent MK needs an outstanding Indian and this is not it

Shame about the poppadoms! They came out suspiciously quickly and tasted like they had been sat on the side for half an hour. Not a great start. However, the main courses were all excellent and the service was also very good, and not expensive.

The poor review for service is only due to one person, who took the order. It was sheer impatience. We felt under pressure of ordering quick and ask no questions. And even then full order not taken. Others were very good, polite and understanding and I feel their hard work is being compromised due to one person.

It was our first time in Dipna, our friends recommended it and thought we should try it out. We love the vibe of this place! It strikes the perfect balance between elegant and relaxed, making it ideal for any occasion. The service was impeccable from start to finish. Starting from the host/manager,Wanida, sat us down and explained the menu, introduced us to our server, Aneesha. Our server was gracious and accommodating, ensuring every aspect of our dining experience was perfect. We tried all the recommended dishes; Samosa Chatt Blast, Dynamite Wings, Lamb Samosa, Masala fries, Lamb Chops, Grilled Chicken/Paneer Tikka, Grilled Salmon Tandoori, Meat/Vegetable Thali, Prawn Curry, Buttered Chicken, Chicken/Vegetable Biryani, Pea Pilau Rice, Rasmalai, Gajar Halwar, Gulab Jamun, they were all delicious. Our baby daughter was crying and Wanida offered to take care of her whilst we were having our meal. Even though it was busy, the staff were smiling, laughing and seemed to be enjoying their work. We would come back just for the service.

Didn’t say that cash not accepted, should do at the start or at time of booking. Food was cold, nan bread a bit dry , not very good value. Amount of meat in each thali dish was tiny, and I wouldn’t expect mango chutney to be one of the dishes! Ordered white wine spritzers and had to but separaate soda water, so cost £10, which is excessive. No one came to take payment for the bill, we had to go up to the bar to pay, , as they were clearing up, was only 9.45, so we weren’t excessively late.

Limited menu, homogeneous gravy Sauce for korma and "coconut" prawn curry. Out of bottled beer selection.

Absolutely amazing...my son and I had a meat and a vegetable Thali ... delicious flavours , so thoroughly enjoyed them .. Staff were really courteous and explained the dishes as they were served.. Will definitely be coming back .

First time at this restaurant. Decent food quality and surroundings. Not too expensive. Great service from Ramisha. Didn’t like that they put a 15% tip on the bill. We’re not in New York

Very smart modern Indian restaurant. Staff welcoming friendly and patient. Allowance of 2 hours for our party was more than sufficient.
