The Dining room is the heart and soul when dining at O’Reilly’s, offering delicious food and a good selection of wines, including our very own O’Reilly’s wines.

Recount your day’s adventures with fellow guests and plan the days ahead over a hearty meal. Share your dining experience with the wildlife of Lamington National Park, where at breakfast, you will find masses of colour in the bay windows as the Regent and Satin Bowerbirds come in for a bath. You may spot a Brushtail Possum or a Sugar Glider at night!

The Dining Room is open for breakfast and dinner daily.

The kid’s sausages & chips means 3 burnt beef chipolatas. Last night I asked for two bowls of chocolate ice cream, plain, and they both came out with a chocolate biscuit crumb in the bowls which my kids wouldn’t eat. Asked for apple juice for my daughter and 20 minutes later I had to ask again. It took 25 minutes for our plates to be cleared tonight. Risotto was fantastic. The menu is very beef and lamb heavy. Have loved staying at O’Reillys but wouldn’t come back again with this menu. Considering the price I paid to stay here and it’s the only restaurant at night I won’t return.

Both the breakfast and dinner were exceptional. The Angus steak was perfectly cooked for medium. The entree salmon gravlax was beautiful. The fennel salad complimented the saltiness of the fish. It was satisfying dining.

I have been staying at the O’Reilly’s guesthouse and dining in the restaurant each night over my stay. The food has been amazing! Very tasty and wholesome. The staff each night have been very friendly and helpful. Even getting to know my name on a personal note. I have enjoyed my stay and dining experience and will definitely be back again hopefully soon.

Great room and service. We were disappointed to find very little vegetarian food on the menu and so did not return for the booking we had for the second night.

Having travelled around Aus for the last 4 weeks and eaten in some top restaurants this was by far the best we have experienced. The food was top class, the surroundings were sublime and the service was second to none. I thoroughly recommend a visit to Ricky’s.

Overall had a good experience taking into consideration the remote location. The service was very good and friendly. The ambience was a little stark. Good food choices but the meal quality was fairly average and not consistent with the high price. An alternative is the resort bar where the ambience is very nice with great views and an open fire making it quite cosy. Almost the same food menu can be ordered and it's a little less expensive.

A very disappointing dining experience. We have visited here many times and never had such a bad experience. The wait staff did their best but the wait times for the food were appalling with no explanation. The meals were not worth the money at all. The steaks ordered were not the correct size. The duck spring rolls had no flavour. The prawn papardelle had no flavour and were greasy. And only 5 prawns in the pasta. The 3 steaks came out together but my pasta dish came out much later. So we have canceled our dinner booking tonight for the restaurant. However we were given a complimentary bottle of wine after complaining.

Great food. Lovely staff. Fabulous location. Long walk back to the villa. A shuttle would have been perfect.
