STAY AWAY. The hospitality of this place is terrible and the owners & waiters are extremely disrespectful towards customers. I booked this restaurant through groupon for my partner’s birthday, as he loves Indian food, and it was a terrible experience. They sent us a very unprofessional text message a few hours before our booking telling us we had to go to the Westbourne restaurant instead of the Bournemouth one due to it suddenly being closed down (which I don’t believe, I feel like they just didn’t want to accommodate us). Once we arrived at the Westbourne restaurant, which was a 15 min drive away instead of the 2 min walk that it should’ve been to the original restaurant, and a lot smaller than the original restaurant, Raj the waiter said we weren’t allowed to use the groupon voucher even though it had already been brought (why have your restaurant available on groupon if you don’t want people to use it?). We argued against it and finally they allowed us to use it, but then there was a whole other issue of us only being able to order from a set menu (which was not stated anywhere on the groupon voucher). During this time, Raj was being extremely rude and dismissive towards my partner and myself, baring in mind it was my partners birthday and I was very upset that my partner was becoming upset. He finally said we could order from the normal menu (which should have been the case anyway) but we ended up just leaving due to the terrible customer service up to this point. The least they could have done is accommodate what we were already entitled to, without all the fuss, knowing that they inconvenienced us by moving us to a whole new restaurant. We managed to get a refund from groupon but I would stay away from this place, very rude manager & waiters and would not recommended at all.

Friendly family restaurant, attentive without being annoying, gave great advice whilst ordering, food was great portions were huge. A great experience!

The food was absolutely fabulous. We made a Groupon booking and we weren't sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. Portion sizes fantastic and flavours great. Massive onion Bhajis and nan bread so light and fluffy. Thank you every single much, see you again next time

Was not willing to honour groupon voucher although this was on our booking. Food was very poor quality. Salty and very little sauce with curries. Vegetable curry with biriyani had no favour or sauce and appeared to be just frozen mixed veg. Mushroom bhaji was another mixed veg dish with no sauce. Onion bhaji was so greasy we couldn’t eat and peshwari naan was also very greasy. 2nd pint of cobra was so flat couldn’t drink it. Not great at all and cost £94 😡

Staff pleasant and welcoming though later somewhat distracted by take away orders. Food was delicious and plentiful. Will certainly visit again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit here at Dilli Haat and the food was outstanding! Lovely waitress too. It was a bonus to have the music in the background. We shall return sometime
