We strive to serve exquisite food and give excellent service. Dillard's specializes in traditional American steakhouse fare including Filets, New York Strips, Ribeye's, Wagyu, and more. Our side dishes range from Lobster Macaroni and Cheese to Garlic Smashed Potatoes, and are portioned to be shared with others at your table. The wine list is both exceptional and unique to this town as we tend to find wines that other dining establishments haven’t yet discovered. Our cocktail menu rotates with the seasons, utilizing fresh berries and herbs to highlight our spirits.

I showed up for my reservation and they informed me they were out of steak and salmon at 7pm. Do not reserve here they’re unreliable.

Unfortunately our dining experience did not meet expectations. Entered and we were told sit wherever you want. We had to ask for menus. Apparently no servers were available that evening and the bartenders were having to wait tables. When the hostess arrived she was vaping and appeared disinterested at serving front of house. Orders two fillets medium, both were cooked to well with no pink center. Extremely disappointing experience. The photos from the website do not accurately depict the atmosphere of the actual restaurant.

They were out of all wines. The food was limited. This staff was limited what they had looked horrible and was not edible so we left the restaurant and went to another one. I would not recommend Dillard house in downtown Birmingham, at this point.

Food was lukewarm. They were out of several items. Nothing special in my opinion. The staff was great. The food was mediocre .

This was a terrible choice. The server was good but the food was horrible. Every dish that we ordered was burnt. From the corn on the fried green tomatoes, to the burnt flakes of lamb in the mashed potatoes. There were no table clothes and no type of music was playing to set the mood. I would not recommend this place to anyone. We spent close to $200 and the food was not even edible. I regret that I didn’t read the reviews on this one.

Not a high end restaurant as it was described. Totally understaffed with no host. Waited at check in for 15 min with no greeting. Had reservations but it didn’t matter, they didn’t have the capacity to serve the existing tables. Eventually we left.

"We arrived at 7:00 PM for a 7:15 PM reservation and waited 15 minutes without seeing a hostess. Eventually, we walked in and asked for assistance with seating, only to be told it would be an hour before anything could be done. No one from Dillard's Chophouse apologized or made an effort to address the situation. This is a beautiful venue, but unfortunately, the service explains why it has a 2-star rating."

We have no idea what the food would have been like. We had a reservation at 7:00. Arrived 15 minutes early, 20-30 people in line not one person at the host stand. No one ever showed up to seat anyone. Horrible service.

We we never seated or acknowledged by anyone. It was a busy night (that’s why we made reservations) so we waited almost 30 minutes before leaving but no one ever acknowledged us or apologized for the wait. There was a line of people who had reservations waiting to be seated and we were just ignored. It’s not like they didn’t know it was going to be a busy night, it was a planned event.
