Our first visit to Dil Se in the Mailbox. They have a variety of items in the menu and all what we ordered were delicious. The service was exemplary and am very happy to recommend to all

My first visit and loved the decor and ambience. The service was top notch and felt very fine dining. I had the lamb dosa and it was spectacular. Looking forward to trying out more dishes.

Very tasty food, nice ambience and friendly attentive staff. Food is so tasty I ordered delivery on uber eats 2 days after eating in the restaurant.

Masla dosa was delicious. Lovely restaurant and staff were lovely. The masla chips were very wet and after you finished your meal, no one came to collect the plates until you asked someone to take them away. Overall a lovely food and place.

Food was great we were very impressed with both veg and meat dishes-fantastic. Service was beyond poor.worst service we have had in Birmingham, across all restaurants we have been to. No attention to detail, bottles (wine and water) just placed on table which we had to pour our selves. Staff were busy chatting amongst themselves then attending to diners. We had to ask for bill after table being cleared, eventually when the bill was bought over we then again had to wait (15mins)and call someone over to actually pay our bill. We were seated by the disabled toilet and baby changing. Door kept being left open which wasn’t very pleasant.maybe a slow door closer would be better than people just leaving the door open. Also another thing staff should be keeping an eye on. Another thing that we weren’t impressed by was the glass door panel on the baby changing area. If I was to bring my daughter here I wouldn’t want passers by being able to look in as I’m changing her nappy… zero privacy! I’d then have to go into another area to wash my hands baby in tow… not very convenient. Any parent would agree. And if someone was to use the disabled toilet they would be in the same area as me changing my daughter… a complete stranger being that close in what should be a private changing area is very invasive. Zero thought has gone into the design of this area. The restaurant has the potential to be great, however a few tweaks needed internally. The staff definitely need to pay attention to detail.

The best new restaurant which caters to everyone’s taste and most importantly pocket ! The service was impeccable. The avocado chaat was so refreshing. Paper Dosa was served with the potato stuffing separately with sambar and 3 chutneys. Main course Portions are generous too and perfect for sharing. All in all whether a quick bite with plenty of choice in street food or celebratory Occassion, Dil Se is truly The Place to visit.

Lovely new restaurant in the Mailbox! The Sri Lankan Prawn Curry was particularly delicious and the staff were great! Looking forward to going back.
