    The first impression of the restaurant was of an upscale steakhouse. Welcoming staff, and prompt help with reservations. However, we struggled with our waiter, he kept forgetting checking with our table. It was frustrating and ruined the whole experience. The food was ok, but doesn’t match the first impression of the restaurant. We had 6 people in our group.

    This is our favorite restaurant in New Orleans, hands down and we will not judge the restaurant on one experience. That being said, this was the worst steak we’ve ever eaten at DB’s. It was tough, full of gristle and undercooked. We asked for medium and it was bloody rare. The cut of meat was not top quality either. Everything else was fantastic. Our only complaint and this really had nothing to do with the restaurant, but the host sat us at a nice wall booth right in front of a table of obnoxious guys that did take away from our romantic evening.

    One of those places you walk by all the time and finally go into. What a pleasant surprise! Great dinner!

    I have been there several times before and Service was much, much better. I was disappointed this go around.

    Spencer was very attentive to our requests and gave us excellent service. The food was excellent! Ambience was very relaxing after a long day in the city. We did not feel rushed or unwelcome as a guest. We will absolutely return! They make it a very personal experience.

    First of all, the food was amazing! The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because there was one very loud table for the evening and it was their show. The staff was good enough to move us, which we appreciated but their noise and the staffs chants really took away from the ambiance. Very NOLA but we just expected more from this place. Overall would recommend but be prepared for the noise.

    What a fabulous dinner! We have been going to this Steakhouse for many years when we are in town. We chose it to celebrate birthdays- both me and my hubby. The table was decorated and it was a cozy booth in a great location. Many of the staff came over to tell us happy birthday. Our waiter was Cornelius and he was amazing - so kind and helpful - knowledgeable!! We had the bbq shrimp- wow- the sauce was bread dipping fabulous!! We had the Chateaubriand dish- and it did not disappoint- everything was superb!! A must try if you want something to share!! Then we were both given a butter pecan homemade ice cream in a scrumptious editable sugar pastry shaped in a bowl with candles and happy birthday written in chocolate!! Yummy!! It was a very memorable dinner- highly recommend!!
