We’re located in a beautifully restored former Wood Turning Mill and Dyehouse, with Riverside Garden and Wild Flower Meadow, with decor embracing our post-modern industrial heritage with the warmth and energy of an Italian Piazza.

This was a second visit to devour, again it’s hard not to be impressed by the decor and ambience and this evening there was a great live band. We were asked if we wanted to grab a drink before being seated for dinner - the vibe was great so we did unfortunately after 15 minutes no service or drinks arrived to the point I had to stop a passing waiter. Fortunately from this point onwards the service and indeed the food was superb. The chicken risotto is incredible, it reminds you how good chicken really can taste. The table waiting staff was super friendly and the gelato really rather special apparently the white wine was good too - said my partner LOL. Despite the initial disappointment I would definitely recommend and will return!

Devour really is a stunning restaurant, from the minute you walk in the door everything is professional, staff very attentive, decor beautiful and the food superb. I would highly recommend and will definitely be back again.

Food was delicious as always. The only reason I’ve given 4 stars for service and overall was that we were rushed off our table at the end (even though offered to go for a drink in the bar before our meal so if limited on time surely we should have been taken straight through to our table) then when we’d gone through to the bar after our meal it was as though we’d been forgotten about and it took ages to get someone’s attention to order drinks and again when we wanted to ask for the bill. Previously the service has always been outstanding so it was a shame it slipped a bit last night.

Amazing Italian restaurant in Huddersfield with a romantic feel, lovely atmosphere and Amazing staff. The risotto di pollo was divine and my wife absolutely loved the Gambaressa. Absolutely must have some of the flat breads as well.

This is a lovely setting with well laid out covers excellent bar area ideal for pre drinks. The service was spot on as was the food. I would definitely recommend it
