Devour really is a stunning restaurant, from the minute you walk in the door everything is professional, staff very attentive, decor beautiful and the food superb. I would highly recommend and will definitely be back again.

Food was delicious as always. The only reason I’ve given 4 stars for service and overall was that we were rushed off our table at the end (even though offered to go for a drink in the bar before our meal so if limited on time surely we should have been taken straight through to our table) then when we’d gone through to the bar after our meal it was as though we’d been forgotten about and it took ages to get someone’s attention to order drinks and again when we wanted to ask for the bill. Previously the service has always been outstanding so it was a shame it slipped a bit last night.

Amazing Italian restaurant in Huddersfield with a romantic feel, lovely atmosphere and Amazing staff. The risotto di pollo was divine and my wife absolutely loved the Gambaressa. Absolutely must have some of the flat breads as well.

This is a lovely setting with well laid out covers excellent bar area ideal for pre drinks. The service was spot on as was the food. I would definitely recommend it

The 4 of us arrived early to have a pre dinner drink. It was busy but we waited 10 mins for someone to take our order. Then 3 drinks were delivered and after a further 5 minutes we had to ask for the 4th. Once we were seated at our table we had to ask for someone to take our order. Our wine and food arrived and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The food was excellent apart from one of our party ordered broccoli with orange zest and almonds as on the menu. When it arrived it was plain broccoli, this was pointed out to the server who went to the kitchen to ask why it wasn’t as stated on the menu. She came back and said the chef said they are too busy so plain broccoli is all that is on offer. This should have been pointed out when the order was taken and an alternative offered. We mentioned this to a more senior staff member, who was most apologetic and deducted it from our bill and said that it shouldn’t have happened. 2 of us have been to Devour before and always had a fantastic experience from both the food and service. We had raved about it to our friends who were looking forward to a great dining experience and unfortunately it fell a bit short. The restaurant was very busy and despite that the serving staff did a fantastic job, although some of them appeared a little harassed.

The 4th drink that you waited for was ordered a little later than the other drinks which would have explained the small delay. I sincerely apologise about the oversight and mis communication on the broccoli dish. If something was missing from this dish we should have replaced for you or explained which elements of the dish we didn't have. Unfortunately not the usual standard expected. Pizza only had cheese in the middle, meaning that there was crust, sauce and toppings for the majority of the pizza. Pizza was also overdone with semolina flour to the point where it took away from the taste. I wanted to speak to the waitress to complain, but we were asked to vacate our table for a later sitting, therefore I felt I couldn’t speak my mind as I was being rudely ushered out. Really ruined my evening
