We’re located in a beautifully restored former Wood Turning Mill and Dyehouse, with Riverside Garden and Wild Flower Meadow, with decor embracing our post-modern industrial heritage with the warmth and energy of an Italian Piazza.

Amazing location. Lovely food. Great service. Relaxed. Lovely wine choices. Would love to go back on a sunny lunchtime and sit by the river.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 36th wedding anniversary evening. We were looked after very well by all the staff, especially Liv who took the time to look after us and make our evening special. The food was really lovely ( we had pizzas to die for!) The restaurant is beautiful! We can't wait to come again, and will most definitely bring our family . The atmosphere is lovely, we will sit outside another time too - weather permitting. A wonderful place to come, will recommend to all our friends .

Loved this spot Loads of free onsite parking, great internal decor / ambience, even though it was a warm day it was a good comfortable temperature. Alternatively theres a lot of covered outdoor tables if that takes your fancy Terrific food with generous portions (look smaller than they actually are on most reviews are the plates are oversized so don't be fooled into thinking its small portions), service was well paced and good, prices I thought were fair for the overall experience / quality The Ice cream is a must try really fantastic flavours My only criticism would be whilst music choice was great (love a bit of 80's and Last Shadows Puppets) it was just a little on the loud side - not too excessive but one of our party was hard of hearing and background music if not set right can make it difficult to hear and after all most of us come to talk to the party we are with rather than listen to music. When you are not hard of hearing this can be difficult to understand but unfortunately it comes to a lot of us. Overall though very good and will definitely be back.

We're regulars at Devour - both outside and inside. On Sunday it was quiet inside - two to three tables max. We waited a while to order our drinks, and then waited about 15-20 minutes for them to arrive (there were two of us), we then had to try and attract the attention of a waitress / waiter to take our food order. We weren't in a rush, but on a warm day it would have been nice to have our drinks sooner and know that our food order was on the way. I wasn't quite sure if it was down to poor leadership by the outdoor waitress in charge, very inexperienced or young staff or - quite frankly - apathy. Not the usual service we've come to expect. Also, very, very limited vegetarian options on the outdoor menu. I didn't really want the main course I had, but there was no other choice - other than pizza which is something I could easily have at home.

Fantastic outside area where we enjoyed pre dinner cocktails. Food was amazing, service excellent, attentive and quick. Would definitely go back.

Arrived on time for our booked table, ordered a bottle of champagne which came fairly quickly! Were shown to our table, then think we were totally forgotten about as we had to ask to order our food. Eventually the food arrived, which was very nice, however one of the plates had am old crack in it! Asked for the wine list, they brought it but never returned to take our order? Such a shame as this is a beautiful restaurant and it spoilt our evening. The management did take a few of our drinks off the bill to compensate….

The staff were fantastic. This meal was pre proposal and they helped make it extra special. The food was outstanding and the setting for drinks outside and the restaurant is incredible. We will be visiting again and again.

We love it at Devour and go often. The food and service are always excellent. One small niggle from our last visit was getting charged £1.50 for some Parmesan to go on pasta. When you’re spending over £100 on a couple of meals, you expect to get something like that for free (especially with it being an Italian influenced restaurant!). While it’s only a small amount of money, it just takes the enjoyment out of the meal when you realise you’ve been charged for something that costs the restaurant very little. Would have been nice to have been told in advance too.
