Welcome to the Devonshire Arms, Baslow
The Devonshire Arms, in the stunning Peak District National Park, is a stylish bar and restaurant, with 11 individually designed en suite double rooms.

Our talented executive chef, Darren Goodwin, and his team deliver mouthwatering dishes every day of the week, complemented by an extensive wine list, a choice of cask ales and European lagers, and a wide range of premium spirits.

We pride ourselves on our wine list, which includes many wines not available in other venues or on the high street, with over 35 wines that are available by the glass and bottle.

Amazing warm welcome. Casual but beautiful pub felt very welcome in our walking gear Nothing too much trouble and attentive staff on hand to help guide you when undecided (I can vouch for the local ale recommended by the bar girl. It's very good) had burgers for lunch and were very tasty. Could see this place being very busy on a weekend Would 100% recommend Well done Devonshire we will be returning with our friends in due course

Good pub grub. Clean place. Friendly staff. Dog friendly. Food could be slightly larger portions if I was being picky but overall great pub

We went to the Devonshire arms for our anniversary from the moment we stepped through the door the atmosphere was amazing. The front of house staff were delightful, nothing was too much to ask. And the food oh god, it was worth every penny and more. I will definitely be coming again. Thank you for making our day that much more special.

Avoid. Don’t waste your money. The service and wait for food was ridiculous. One starter was forgotten, we had to wait again for this. Then the table was t cleared for at least 30 mins and that was only when the mains came out. Again, one main meal was missed. After waiting again for this it was sent back as inedible. Avoid.

Came for Father’s Day. The menu advertised three days prior was gone. The roast dinners were supposed to come with creamed leeks but it didn’t and my chicken had no stuffing either. The Yorkshire puddings appear to be aunt Bessie’s. I think for the price it should have been better

Lovely staff as always. We were told this is now brewery owned after we complained about poor portion size, poor good quality, menus not reflecting food brought out. Food tasteless and cheap. Prices expensive too. Such a shame as we really enjoyed our previous visits, as a couple, with family and also with friends. Unfortunately we won’t be returning

Not great, would not recommend or return. Front of house staff were great, but the food was expensive and poor. All the veg was over cooked, poor combination on the plate and the special board was just pizza? Not the place it was once, sadly.

Unfortunately, we waited over an hour for our food in the restaurant as the pub was busy. When the food eventually arrived it was not cooked properly

L9vely food pleasant staff. Service a bit slow but there only seemed to be one person serving and it was quite busy.
