Welcome to the Devonshire Arms, Baslow
The Devonshire Arms, in the stunning Peak District National Park, is a stylish bar and restaurant, with 11 individually designed en suite double rooms.

Our talented executive chef, Darren Goodwin, and his team deliver mouthwatering dishes every day of the week, complemented by an extensive wine list, a choice of cask ales and European lagers, and a wide range of premium spirits.

We pride ourselves on our wine list, which includes many wines not available in other venues or on the high street, with over 35 wines that are available by the glass and bottle.

Enjoyed our 2-course Wednesday Supper Club meal. Good value, particularly with £10 discount off any bottle of wine. Staff welcoming and friendly. Service very good.

The restaurant has a very lovely and cozy feel to it. The service was good and everyone was friendly and attentive. To eat, I had the shepherds pie which was very nice and my partner had the burger which he said was ok. Puddings were tasty! Would recommend a visit here.

All the staff were lovely. The lady in charge ? Mandi is in control and really good at her job. Really loved the chicken schnitzel.

Lovely food. All four of us enjoyed it but the roast dinner could have been a bit warmer

Moved to the area around 5 months ago and slowly making our way around the various restaurants/ pubs . We have been here twice now and Iv got to say the atmosphere is lovely . So friendly and the team are amazing . Sunday lunch was tasty and we will definitely be back . The service was amazing from greeting us to sitting us t the table to saying goodbye . Ruby was fantastic and great with our little nephew . Thank you Ruby and all the team Kara & Doug

Was a lovely experience - food was incredible, there was plenty of space between tables so it wasn’t over crowded. Our waitress, Sophie, was really on the ball, very polite, friendly and personable.

Very disappointed and feel ripped off. My sirloin steak was £34.50. A small steak served with a few chips and a something out if a jar peppercorn sauce. I pointed this out to our waitress who really did her best to defend the indefensible. The service was very good. Although I did tell our waitress that the managers would care little about my complaint, as it transpires this is a punch inn. Indeed no interest from the management. The one thing about this firm, it is like a shody weatherspoons. Will be full of walkers next Sunday and the Sunday after, who may well enjoy mediocrity - so why care about a complaint. Never again
