Devlin’s Country Bistro and Catering is upscale Contemporary dining with continental cuisine. We are located in the quaint village of Mount pleasant in a newly renovated 200 year old home. We are known for our locally sourced ingredients and scratch made cuisine. Our canadian prime grade, dry aged steaks are sought after by most along side our renown caesar salad, seafood linguine and oysters.

Devlin's has the nicest people working for them, so inviting and knowledgeable. Everything we ordered was simply superb! Beef tallow fries....the best we've ever eaten!! Thank you for the wonderful dining experience...we were celebrating our daughter's graduation and it was an unforgettable dinner experience. Highly recommend Devlin's and we will be back!

Devlin’s has bedn my family restaurant growing up and now its my husband’s and my restaurant. It is always an incredible experience, never disappointed! It is considered pricey fine dining but very reasonably priced! After all you get what you pay for; great quality ingredients and service every time. Love Devlins and always recommended!

There is something so very slightly "eerily unwelcoming" about this place. It starts as you are opening their front door and are stepping into the restaurant. We were there for our wedding anniversary and had made reservations several weeks out beforehand. The majority (if not all) of the evening reservation time slots were open at the time that we made the reservation so our reservation was readily made for 6:15pm. As we stepped in there eagerly anticipating a half decent or possibly premium dining lounge seating we were floored when we observed the hostess turn to lead us to a tiny boorish, classless seating area to the left of the doorway. Realizing what was going on here now and knowing that we had made our reservation well in advance we clued into the “unspoken” that was actually at play This wasn’t the 1st time we were questionably treated there but we will make sure its the last time. We'll also be sure to not use our real first names to make reservations and to use more common proper sounding names

From the moment we walked in we knew we were going to have a great experience at Devlins. We were seated quickly and Phyllis was quick to tell us about the drink specials and take our orders for drinks. Our server was just as quick and explained all of the features and specials with enthusiasm and sold us on the seafood pasta and chef pasta feature. Everything was absolutely delicious and we’ll definitely be back in the future. Thank you for making our girls night so memorable!

Overall the food was good. I ordered a $58 steak medium rare with Gorgonzola cheese. It came clearly medium well. When I brought it to the attention of staff I was missing the cheese and that the steak was cooked greater than requested. She asked me to cut the steak in half there was a slight bit of medium rare-in the very centre. She said oh that’s medium rare??? Ok not worth the dispute. She then says I’ll get your cheese - it took quite a bit for her to return with what appeared to be blue cheese in a large bowl. Then that same staff came later to acknowledge that I was given the wrong steak! I did eat the clearly overcooked steak and now cold waiting for the cheese. Server comes over asks if we would like a complementary dessert because they forgot the cheese!?! Nothing with regard to the steak. I would give it a try again but I next time I will ensure I get what I pay for.
