Located at the corner of Market Street & Clarence Street in the heart of Sydney CBD, Devine is Sydney's oldest wine bar/restaurant. It’s just a short stroll from the QVB, State Theatre, and Town Hall.

The Spot for Great Food and Wine
Devine offers a selection of cicchetti, Italian-inspired à la carte dishes, and an excellent wine-by-the-glass list. Known for its popular lunches and after-work eats, it’s the go to place to relax. Whether you’re sinking into the comfortable banquettes or sitting up at the bar with share plates, Devine offers a welcoming atmosphere.
A Delicious Start
Kick things off with freshly shucked Sydney Rock Oysters, zucchini flowers, or an artisan salumi board. From there, try one of the daily house-made pastas, market-fresh fish, or the must-try Wagyu Steak.

On 7th March, FROM 3-6pm, we’re handing our wine bar over to the CEO of Scarpa Wines, Davide Champion, who will be showcasing a selection of 10 current and rare museum wines, all available to purchase by the glass or bottle. Overall we enjoyed our experience. The service was great. The food was very good. You nee dto have alternative for non truffle eaters...the butter had truffle so we couldnt order that and we didnt enjoy the mortadela with truffle. The crab gnocci was amazing

We were so happy to find this place. Everything we had was delicious. The oysters were really tasty. They were very attentive and personable. We definitely recommend this restaurant

Anthony and his staff were FANTABULOUS. When I appeared at the door in my wheelchair, Anthony was apologetic about the one big step since they were in an historic building. At the same time, in true Aussie manner, things were sorted, wines and beers were poured, and wondrous food was consumed. The staff and chef easily and appropriately accommodated a vegan request and Anthony’s wine suggestions were excellent. Thank you for a wonderful night.

After a long day and trying to find the parking station we booked on line , google directions sent us back over the Anzac bridge we arrived 5 minutes late and were greeted by the fantastic staff . A drink arrived asap , menu discussed with the waitress our 3 appetizers were sensational, arancini, kingfish and the fritto Misto. Topped with a bottle of Italian white wine we had the spatchcock between the 2 of us with the broccolini. Had to go to the state theater for a show , could have stayed longer . Great food and atmosphere, staff are very knowledgeable on food and wines .

A great venue that has been around for a long time. They staff were very accommodating when we turned up early post theatre show. The food (as always) was delicious and the wine selection was great.
