Devine is one of the city’s most established wine bars, on the corner of Market Street and Clarence Street, in the heart of Sydney CBD and a short stroll to the QVB, State Theatre and Town Hall.
Devine is the spot to find tapas, Italian-inspired a la carte and an excellent wine by the glass selection. Long known for it’s popular lunches and after work eats, you’ll see the hustle and bustle of the city coming in to wind down; sinking into the banquettes or sitting up at the bar with some share plates.
Freshly shucked Sydney Rock Oysters, zucchini flowers and artisan salumi boards might be the best way to start.
Then any of the daily house made pastas, market fresh fish of the day, or the Wagyu Steak are a must!

If you're looking for an unforgettable Italian dining experience, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit! From the moment you step in, the warm ambiance and impeccable service set the tone for an exceptional meal. Start with the crudo—so fresh it practically melts in your mouth—and the perfectly seared scallops, which are a testament to the chef's artistry. For the main course, the risotto is creamy, rich, and bursting with flavour, while the pappardelle, is a pasta lover's dream. And don’t leave without trying their tiramisu; it’s a masterpiece and the best one I have tasted. This is Italian cuisine at its finest, and I’d recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat!

This is our second time at Devine and we've loved it both times. The staff are superb, the food is fabulous and the wine list is wonderful. We love the atmosphere, seating and design. We'll definitely be back. It's on our favourites list.

We loved the seafood risotto. It was made with prawns and australian meriton bugs (small lobster). Meatballs were from the chefs grandmother in italy, yummy. The wine selection was awesome.

Always amazing food, a 9pm sitting was arranged and we were seated quickly and water served immediately. The wine list is extensive and good. The food is beautifully served with fresh local ingredients which shows and tasted (as always) incredible. The ambience is always lively - even at lunchtime but never over noisy or loud. Not for everyone - the price point can be high depending on wine but it is certainly our pick of Italian in Sydney.

Traveled from Houston and so glad I found this gem! Had an incredible dining experience at De Vine Food & Wine! We started with the calamari, shrimp, and zucchini flowers, each battered to perfection and bursting with flavor. The artichoke ravioli was delightfully rich, and the Cotoletta veal dish was perfectly cooked. The wine selection was impressive, adding the perfect touch to an already excellent meal. There were some off the menu options by the glass as well. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-notch meal with a wonderful ambiance!
