Welcome to the Detroit Fish House Steak & Oyster Bar
We are a new seafood, steak and oyster bar located in Shelby Township, MI.

At the Detroit Fish House, we are committed to excellence in all that we do. Our seafood is all “top of the catch” and impeccably fresh and the wines are hand-selected from all over the world to complement our menu. The most important component though is, of course, our service. It is the mission of the Detroit Fish House to exceed our guests’ expectations for extraordinary food, beverages and guest service in a warm & welcoming facility. This will be accomplished through the relentless pursuit of excellence in all of our menu items, an unwavering commitment to exceptional guest service and our sincerest desire to treat everyone as if they were a guest in our own home.

I found for the price of entree it was very small. I had shrimp dinner Cajun style it was grilled and over cooked I received 6 large shrimp and fries for 32$ I would expect 10 min for that price .shrimp is not the most expensive protein. My wife had grilled lobster tail and was happy with her food. The bread and lobster bisk was good. Service was excellent for being a high end seafood restaurant the cook on shrimp should be perfect. Probably first and last visit.

We looked forward to celebrating our anniversary there and was not disappointed! The complimentary champagne is a nice touch and the service was excellent. The food met all expectations.

The food was excellent, same as last two times we were there. Service was a little slow, but it was Fathers' Day. Also, they tried to seat us in the bar at a high-top when I specifically requested the dinging room when I booked. I made our reservation two weeks prior, and the restaurant had at least a dozen empty tables when we arrived. They did move us to the dining room, and it still had empty tables when we left. I guess you have to just speak up. We would still go back, as food is great. Maybe it was just an off day.

Staff was Pleasant kind and professional food was great place was clean with an up scale casual feel. Would definitely recommend it for any occasion whether be family night out date or getting together with friends or why not hanging by yourself enjoying a drink or a meal?

Waitress was friendly and attentive, food was slow to come about but delicious! Soup and bread were good. Our entrees were hot and delicious! We dined early but as restaurant filled up it got VERY noisy.

Our server, Jenny, was absolutely perfect. The food was great. We were surprised that they had to move tables together for just 5 people, it was uncomfortable because someone would have had to sit on the large crack in the middle so one of our party requested a chair and sat on the end. Our gratuity was added on because we were considered a large group! I would have given that much, anyway. It felt a bit insulting. And Jenny brought our Graduate a special dessert. That was the icing on the top!
