Descanso is a modern taqueria in that it celebrates authentic Mexican flavors and recipes executed in a lively setting that brings in the smells, sounds and energy of a busy Mexican town.

Types of Dining at Descanso:

PLANCHA
At a Plancha Table, you will receive an intimate experience with our Planchero Chefs. This is a multi-course menu where your meal is cooked in front of you at your table! Please go to our DESCANSO PLANCHA DINING page in order to book for this experience online.

STANDARD DINING

I love the food here. My only issue is that I’m never sat right away when I have reservation. I always wait at least 20 minutes to get seated.

The food was amazing. The flavors had so much depth. Best Mexican food I have ever had. And the service was great. Everyone was so lovely.

As usual our dining experience was phenomenal. I had the salmon avocado tostadas and ceviche for a starter. Our service was excellent and the ambience was such a vibe. Highly recommend

Three out of 4 items were served warm and not hot. Coffee, soup, and burrito were warm and would have been enjoyed more if they were hot. The grilled veggies were hot and were a delightful array of well seasoned vegetables. The restaurant was almost empty and there might have been only one server working. The kitchen should be able to serve food piping hot especially when there are only a few tables to serve. Might have been a one off day or a good explanation but this is my honest review.
