Server and staff were great. Steak was very good, but not great (also not cooked as requested Medium Rare instead of Medium). Great appitizers and sides.

We had an excellent dining experience at Derrick's. My partner's mom even said "i won't go out for steak for a full year until I'm back in town to eat here". Great food and exceptional service. The option to 'choose your own weapon', your own steak knife, was a fun experience! Also our waiter, Chris, was fantastic. He explained the menu options clearly, was attentive in pouring water and wine throughout the service, and took the time to ask for each of our names and remembered it throughout our dinner. It's a great place to bring loved ones and enjoy a good fine dining yet casual experience.

Such an amazing restaurant from the time we arrived till the time we were finished. We went there for our anniversary and everything was point on from the selection of steak knife’s to the table side service.As part of the service they brought out and explained the steaks, where the meat came from and the sizes We chose the 32 ounce bone in Ribeye steak and it dip disappointed. Will be back again for that special evening.

Excellent steaks and table prepared Caesar Salad. Wine recommended by server was a great pairing option. Give them a try, you will enjoy !

The food was exceptional. The steaks were perfectly done, tender, melting your mouth. The servers were courteous and attentive watching the kitchen. You could tell they were having a good time as they were working. It looked very organized and they were in sync with each other. We were celebrating a 66th wedding anniversary.
