Restaurant DenC is a cozy fine dining restaurant located in the center part south of
The diners are theatre visitors, locals, business and travelers guests.
For Theater visitors there’s a 3 course theatre menu including coffee for €45,50
Visiting DenC is a culinary treat with local and Dutch products, the kitchen style can be described as French- Mediterranean. The dishes are served seasonal with extra attention to local fish and (game) meat.
Accompanied by original wines from Europe, partly from our import.

A real find just a block away from the Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam. So good I told the concierge to check it out and recommend to future guests of that fine hotel. They will not be disappointed.

Upon arrival, you’re invited to select between a 3 to 6-course set menu—each course a surprise crafted to astonish and delight. Whether you prefer fish or meat, every dish highlights the freshest, most carefully sourced ingredients, many from their own garden. The anticipation only heightens the magic, as each plate is a delicate work of art. The vibrant microgreens, the freshest seafood, and the impeccable presentation all reflect an unparalleled attention to detail. The service is equally remarkable, making every moment feel both intimate and extraordinary. Having lived in eight countries and traveled to more than 30, I can confidently say that I have never experienced a dining adventure quite like this. Every bite was a revelation, as though my palate had awakened to a new level of sensation. The passion and precision poured into every detail—from the food to the tableware—create an atmosphere of pure excellence. Without question, this is the finest restaurant I have ever encountered. I will return every time I’m in Amsterdam, knowing that Denc, Dik & Cunningham’s ever-evolving menu will continue to enchant and surprise. Very nice, comfortable and relaxing. Didn't love every taste but the ambience, value and how we were treated far overcame that

Great experience. The service was on the slower side, I think it took us 3.5 hours for a 5 course meal. But the food was excellent, and it was an incredible value. Would definitely recommend.

Wij hebben een fantastische avond gehad. Het eten was voortreffelijk. Bediening was uitstekend. We komen graag weer terug.

This was our second time traveling to Amsterdam, and we knew after our first visit that we would definitely go back when we returned! Both dining experience were wonderful; from the food, to the service, and the atmosphere! Every course was presented beautifully. It is an enjoyable way to spend an evening.

We had an excellent experience that included food, service and location. We chose a 6 Course Meal w/ wine pairings. The food was both beautifully prepared and wonderful taste. Our server was the proprietor and her insights and descriptions were fun and added greatly to our understanding of the food as well as to the richness of the evening. I Highly recommend this spot. Well done!!!!

You would pay double for this in Paris. We got the 4 course menu. Amuse bouche involved multiple little bites and a concentrated broth. The 2 kinds of bread were served with salted butter and onion chutney. (Really tasty bread, and Inusually conserve energy and skip it) The “omakase” style courses were fish, fish, game then dessert. Every course was attractively plated using fresh seasonal ingredients and the sauces, foam and garnish were eye-catching. The service was kind and attentive but not hovering. The tables are spaced to allow for privacy and comfort. Wow, would come back here again when visiting Amsterdam!
