Demo is a restaurant in the West Village serving modern, Europe-inspired cuisine from Executive Chef Quang Nguyen and Sous Chef Dina Fan. Inventive seasonal dishes—like wax beans with bottarga and boquerones—share the menu with updated classics like beef tongue tonnato, alongside a carefully curated list of wines by glass and bottle. The sleek interior, tastefully adorned with red marble and dark wood, hosts a front bar for walk-ins as well as a chef's counter in the back.

Please note: We are a small restaurant. Reservations in the dining room and at the chef's counter are intended for dinner. For drinks and snacks we accept walk-ins at the front bar. Thank you for your understanding.

D'après les éditeur·rices d'OpenTable : Lorsque d'anciens élèves du très créatif Wildair ouvrent un restaurant, cela ne passe pas inaperçu. C'est le cas de ce lieu animé du West Village que Eater a qualifié de « nouveau bar à vin le plus excitant de Manhattan ». Allez-y pendant la journée pour un café et des pâtisseries, puis revenez le soir pour un aperitivo et des plats inspirés par les cuisines française, espagnole et italienne, comme la langue de bœuf finement tranchée, le tout assis à des tables en marbre rouge lustrées et à des banquettes aux tons espresso.

Simply the best restaurant in NYC right now. In every aspect, on every level. If you haven't gone yet, you are in for an incredible wine and dinner experience.

Loved it. Dishes were potent and great with wine. Two tops were a too tight, but the room was lovely. Bar seats were great.

I love this place! Food is always fresh and delicious. The flavors and textures are delightful and presentation innovative but understated at the same time. It’s always busy but pleasantly so. Staff always makes us feel very cared for without being intrusive!

The focaccia was excellent, above average. We ordered the $84 dollar lobster to share. It arrived lukewarm, in a tepid blah curry sauce. It was not good. The lobster pieces sort of sat on this weirdly textured tasteless sauce. We tasted it and then left 3/4 of the dish there. They refused to comp the dish, comp even a glass of wine or offer another fish. It was unbelievable. We will never go back. Very poor hospitality.

My new favorite spot. The food is spectacular, and the ambiance is perfect to be able to chat with your group while having a bit of background noise - service is also top tier. This is my new spot.
