Established in 1837, Delmonico's remains the oldest restaurant in New York City and returns for the fall of 2023. Living in its original building at the intersection of Beaver & William Street in the financial district, Delmonico's holds to be the first dining establishment in America to be called by its French name "Restaurant”. Signature Delmonico rib eye was really delicious. We both asked for medium rare. However, mine was cooked medium and his was rare but it was delicious so it didn't matter. The Chianti wine we had with it was delicious and especially the dessert! The cheesecake and Alaska were both delicious. I would go again if I have the chance. It was a good experience.

Overall great except for the 2 entitled idiots sitting next to us. Made for a good laugh but holy sh*t were they annoying. Food was great, cocktails were great, service was great.

The food and service was excellent. Our server Maria was attentive and informative outstanding job. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Our 23rd anniversary and couldn’t have gotten a better table, a nicer wait staff, a more knowledgeable sommelier, a more relaxing atmosphere and incredible cuisine…thank you to everyone at the restaurant for making this a memorable (and repeatable) experience

Excellent food and service and a courteous and accommodating staff—which is becoming a rarity so it was so pleasant to be greeted and hosted by such friendly people. A most enjoyable experience.

Very sad to have this experience at the reopening of Delmonicos. This is our second trip since the reopening. The hostess and our waiter did a wonderful job . Our Sommelier was rude and unfriendly. They did not present the cork after opening the bottle, and after I asked for it, they were very annoyed. The steak was great. The risotto and hashbrowns had too much salt. Because of the overwhelming amount of salt, we could not eat our sides. And finally, the coconut custard came out frozen.. $850.00 for two people and a very poor experience. You expect to leave the restaurant very happy but we did not..
