Delmonico’s Italian Steakhouse affords Utica diners that want a real challenge the opportunity to give a 24-ounce certified Angus Delmonico steak an attempt. The 16-ounce center cut New York sirloin is nothing to sneeze at either. Not just large, the steaks are full of flavor with perfect seasoning and seared to perfection. The menu at Delmonico’s Italian Steakhouse doesn’t end there, however. Chicken is also well represented at Delmonico’s Italian Steakhouse with dishes such as chicken Sinatra, chicken prosciutto, chicken marsala and chicken riggies. The classics like shrimp scampi, veal parmigiana and lasagna are all available as well. Dessert options such as the homemade cannoli and amaretto cheesecake finish off the meal perfectly.

Making a reservation on Open Table for 6;45, had no benefit.. we waited 30 mins for a table and dinner was served after 9:OO, the waitress was lovely, The delay was the worst I have ever experienced… no offer to comp, anything, we did not ask to be however heard the staff offering comps to other guests that waited just like us…. Unreasonable!

The worst experience we have ever had at this place. Not seated until 45 minutes after our reservation time. Appetizers were timely but food did not come out until an hour and a half after we were seated. Plates were very sloppy, and looked like scraps from other plates were thrown on dishes. We paid approximately $120 for Father's Day dinner to eat subpar, flavorless food. We normally have good experiences at this establishment, but this was a very negative experience. The waiter was very apologetic, but every other aspect of the evening was unpleasant and disappointing. I would not refer others to fine here based on this experience alone, but would based on past experiences.

An off night for this place. Took about 2 hours from our reservation time until we got our food. Food is usually very good but just average tonight.

We always love Delmonico’s and enjoy the ambience and the food. But this was Father’s Day. They were extremely busy. We were seated within 10 minutes of our reservation, which was good. But the food never arrived to our table for an hour and 40 minutes after we ordered. The fillet was very overdone dry like leather and so was my husband steak. I’m sure it was just because they were extremely busy. I’m going to give it another try.
