Delmonico’s Italian Steakhouse offers unforgettable meals in an equally unforgettable atmosphere. Our guests enjoy the Italian-themed music with plenty of Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack; the caricatures on the walls; the big-city feel; and the warmth of the wood-paneled dining rooms. Above all, they love the feast for all of their senses provided by our 24 oz. signature Delmonico steak.

We also serve homemade Italian specialties, including pasta, seafood dishes, bruschetta, garlic bread, salads, chicken dishes, and cannoli, as well as a great selection of wines.

We had another great meal. Our waitress was excellent attentive without having to ask. All 4 of the meals we had were delicious.

"Your reservation is not really a reservation, it's more of a priority seating list", I was told recently when I arrived at Delmonico's Albany. The manager told me to look at all the people waiting, without a "reservation", they would wait for 60 minutes plus, he said. My wait would be 20-30 minutes, as I had a "reservation", he said. It was a busy evening, granted, but I naively thought I had a "reservation" and would be seated. It got worse from there. The manager sat us at the bar near the hostess station to wait. After politely waiting for 45 minutes, I returned to the hostess station and asked what's up. They looked at each other confused and said my party had been seated already. They then said that they called my name, and someone said they were me and took our "reservation". I waited for the manager to return, told him of the wait and stolen "reservation". He said next table was mine. After 60 minutes, we were seated at a smaller table, not the booth that was requested, despite there being 2 men seating by themselves eating dinner in separate booths next to our table. The manager did offer to comp 2 appetizers when I asked for compensation for our wait, but the lack of empathy was evident. Despite the food being good, the service, the implied sexism, and the ambiance were so poor I doubt I will return to the Albany Delmonico's Steakhouse.

The atmosphere was quiet, but we were early and was able to get a booth which we prefer. Our server (Eli) went above and beyond and made the experience enjoyable. He was very attentive, not just to us, but what observed with other customers. The food is always tops and we had enough leftovers for another meal!

The food is always delicious! Service was fantastic, very attentive! We did get seated next to other people on every side when the restaurant was empty, which is fine but just a little odd. It was Halloween weekend, so everyone was dressed up. Some costumes were questionable for a family restaurant. But everything was fantastic overall!

Our meals were okay for the most part, but nothing was outstanding. The mini meatball appetizer missed the mark - they were fried and not tender, however, the sauce and the shaved parmesan were delicious. The steak marsala seemed to be missing the marsala. The garlic mashed potatoes missed the garlic. The broccoli was way over-cooked, not good. The service by Carla was excellent.

We dine there often. Everyone is always friendly and always get seated right away. The service is wonderful. Always making sure we are good. The food is fantastic. Overall I recommend this restaurant.

Reservation was for 4:30 pm…seated on time in a nice area of the restaurant..waitress was cordial but seemed inexperienced…but I feel will develop nicely in time… Food was served warm and ample serving for both diners… Food tasted good…enjoyed my time at the restaurant and will return again soon
