Come enjoy our family's nearly 100 year-old Northern Italian restaurant.

Whether you dine with us in our main dining room, the Terrace or upstairs in what was once our family's home, we warmly welcome you. If you're looking for that special restaurant where you can take a a breath from the fast lane and go back to a time when restaurants were not part of a chain and the owner became a friend, the food was always great, and as my grandmother said, "You feel better for coming"....then you've found the right spot. We combine the classic Italian Menu and new creative dishes, with full attention to both. If you enjoy fine wine, you've found a new home. Our cellar contains well over 3,500 choices dating from the late 1800's.

What an amazing room! Old School elegant and inviting. Food was outstanding. They had a live quartet and the owner sang along. A very special place!

Bill and Connie are the best. He works the tables, and she manages the seating times.

We sat on the patio on a Friday night. Our server was Pat who we found caring, humorous and warm. We had drinks, the charcuterie, Veal Del Rio and tortelacci. All were incredible. The food, staff and ambiance evoke thoughtful old world charm. So very worth a stop in to share a good meal with friends and family.

We enjoyed an early dinner before Ravinia. Delicious Bronzino and homemade pasta, warm and welcoming owners and staff, charming old-fashioned ambiance (authentic!) Complimentary valet, really attentive waitstaff. We will love to return.

Loved the ambiance of a home from the early 1900s. Privately owned with amazing food. The owner made time to chat with us. Try the duck lasagna

We sat outside side it was lovely except for the trains but we were early I think if it was later it would have been better. The ravioli assortment was wonderful as was the beet salad. Service was great. Can’t wait to go back. Try the cheesecake.

Perfect dinner, as always, despite the rain that came down. We stayed dry and had a wonderful dinner, including Copper River Salmon, Atlantic Salmon, Branzino and Eggplant Parmesan. Great service provided by Barbara. A nice evening for four friends to catch up!

We have frequented Del Rio for over 40 years. It only gets better. Great pours and excellent food. Try the Duck Lasanga.
